Totoro music box

Totoro music box I bought from the Studio Ghibli Museum in Mitaka Japan, in february 2013...

We have been to the museum three times in the last three years, and this was the first time we saw that kind of music box. They used to have small wooden ones that you crank yourself, but we dont see them anymore. They have small paper ones that look like little books that you can crank yourself... They change what they have alot at the museum gift shop...

This music box costs between $1500 and $2000 on the rare occasion that you can find someone selling it. It was a limited release in Japan years ago. Probably a bit too high end for a child to own.

Its highly unlikely... The Studio Ghibli museum itself only has these high end music boxes only some of the time. You could probably buy one off of Ebay, but your going to pay thousands. But there are lots smaller, cheaper ones online.
