Scouring black flame is one of the best godslayer incants in the game, you should have used it more. You can multihit on big bosses (even maliketh, and rather consistently too), which absolutely melts them.

Understandable. On my incants only run I used scouring a lot with the radagon icon and azur staff in the offhand to offset the casting speed. Also, I think that at equal upgrade level, godslayer seal is best for pure faith until 69 faith, at which point, erdtree seal is better. Although godslayer is harder to upgrade so I understand why you preferred erdtree.

I think it makes sense Radagon can parry spells. A lot of the bosses are primarily design for melee fights, so it can be easy to spam stuff at a range while they slowly walk toward you with the Patrick Bateman stare. So having a boss say "fuck you" like that is kinda nice, not to mention it helps elevate his threat level to being worthy of a final boss in a From Software game.

Yes it is, but only for a int and faith based character. For a pure faith charachter the erdtree seal seems to be better :)

Godslayer spells dick Radagon (when you're not doing a challenge run anyway;) weakness to fire, plus the DOT, melts him. I was struggling hard on my Faith/Strength build and the way I finally beat him was switching to a hammer and the Blackflame Blade buff. Absolutely wrecked him. I always thought that spell was trash, because it's so short, but it actually casts even faster after a dodge or from sprinting, and once I worked that out, I integrated the buff into my movement and basically all my hits on Radagon had the buff. It was actually an extremely fun (and effective) spell once I figured out how to use it, and it was the edge I needed to win.

I also enjoy that it that what kind of build someone brings into it determines which half of the final boss fight is frustrating lol! My first time thru I was pure STR and loved the Radagon fight but EB was the most annoying boss in the game for me at that point with his nonstop running.

All they had to do is make it so Radagon's deflect had a percent chance to deflect a ranged attack that is 0, then, after the first hit, it grows by 25%, and continues until he blocks every said attack. Then, after Radagon makes a move other walking or deflection, the deflection chance resets to 0. BAM. Boss fight tolerable.

I did this on NG+2✅ had my Mimic play fatty. It was super fun! Using Ritual then Scouring immediately after is my absolute favorite. But honestly the regular fireball was the MVP hands down. Bellbearing hunters, Crucible knights, Malenia, Mohg, Maliketh, rAdAgOn and Elden Beast, ALL of them. The Fireball made them all beatable. The only real headaches were Malenia (Duh) and the final boss. 😁 Edit: I did kinda cheat tho and put frost on Stitcher and Peeler. I also used "Charge forth" and "Sword Dance" AOW for 1st half, then "Lion's claw" and "Giant hunt" AOW for endgame 😅
