It'd be cool if Inescapable Frenzy could be used where you'd normally be able to do a critical hit. So like, you stance break a boss and then you grab their face and frenzy blast them for big damage, even if it's a boss that you normally wouldn't be able to use Inescapable Frenzy on.

It’s a shame it isn’t as abusable as Lifesteal Fist, considering they both do a unique grab animation. Just LSF works on non tarnished characters, such as basic soldiers, knights and even Crucible Knights, the latter can’t even block it.

@rafaelbordoni516 Yes, that is a lot of work, *but* The animations for the bosses reaction wouldn't have to be that different than their normal critical attack reaction animations. Same goes for the player animation, it wouldn't have to be that different than the regular Inescapable Frenzy animation. It's definitely doable, the groundwork is already there.

Most people don’t realize that Elden Beast actually has 50% fire resistance, so these kind of builds aren’t really great for it. It has a flat 40% resistance to most elemental damage, and the arena is entirely water, so it always has an extra 10% negation.

I love the frenzied flame lore. It's not "lul burn tree" like so many people seem to think. The Frenzied Flame is sorrow and misery. The oppressed, the downtrodden,the meak and miserable, driven to the brink. The Frenzied Flame offers them an escape, a way to end the suffering. Burn the world away, until there is no suffering left. An incredibly dark and depressing ending, but one I sympathize with having been in a similar state of mind once.

A little late, but the Fire Prelate set, in addition to being way more fashionable than Bull Goat's, and almost as tanky, also has some of the best Focus for resisting self-Frenzy in the game. Shame you gotta farm for it though. Edit: also, the Frenzied Flame Seal is the best to cast Inescapable Frenzy through; offhand seal buffs stop working during the grab animation, and the innate 45 madness on the seal itself applies to every tic of damage, proc'ing Madness even more often than 99 Arc Dragon Communion could. Both of these together means that FFS will do more total damage unless it's at +0 or or something vs a +10 seal.

Frenzied flame spells are always fun to play around with. I never try for a one shot on bosses like this, but I find it fun. My favorite fight with Gideon was using Inescapable Frenzy on him. No one shot, as the video showed, but it feels to me like your killing him by just shouting in his face. It's also kind of satisfying how Elden Beast can't run from you when you have Frenzied Burst.

11:33 You can kill Millicent immediately after she stands up after you've given her the Unalloyed Gold Needle if you don't need/want the Millicent's Prosthesis Talisman and only want the Flock's Canvas Talisman since the trigger for Gowry entering his sad mode is just Millicent dying at any point. Other than that, this was a fun run. Good job! P.S. If you didn't know, NPCs don't input read and dodge Frenzied Burst so it turns NPC Invaders and Gideon into joke fights. It also turns Malenia's first phase into a joke since she will never dodge it due to the mentioned reasons and you can always be away from her in her first phase since the spell has huge range and since Malenia isn't as aggressive in her first phase as she is in her second.

I’m no super player, but having completed the game 9/10 times and tried loads of builds, a pure faith build based around frenzied flame was by far the most fun and easiest. Cipher pata and then coded sword as r/h armament with finger seal. A brilliant build.

so after I watched this I decided to begin my own madness only-ish playthrough while also using this as a bit of a guide, this was a bit of a mistake since I don't know how to traverse places like volcano manor so getting the black dumpling and somber stones were painful. fun fact: in the latest patch they fixed some bugs with the jellyfish shield, this failed as when you use it in conjunction with say... frenzy spells it makes it so you can do absolutely no damage at all same thing with the golden vow ash of war

Little hidden fact, you can combine shabriri's howl with inescapable frenzy. If you use howl to boost your madness bar, reaching a state of madness during inescapable frenzy, the damage you would initially take transfers to whomever you have in your grasp...

tbf frenzied flame spells have some of the best stance breaking i've seen throughout 180 hours of playing, spreading madness is a dual sided blade to be weary against players, but very fun. it's even better playing the convergence mod, frenzied flame gets a lot of support it needs.

I did a ng+7 run with nothing but frenzied flame related items. Frenzied flame seal, vykes war spear, fingerprint shield, and only frenzied flame incantations. And my armor was a combination of corhyn and gold mask. So basically no protection. I had no buffs other than talismans and mixed physic. It was the hardest run I have ever done and I’m now on ng+13. It was an awful experience but it forced me to get really good at the game and I’m glad I did it.

so i did a thing with madness and created a near endless unendurable frenzy. mushroom armor, black dumpling head gear, dual madness seals one +10, clarifiying horn +1, mottled necklace +1, fire scorpion charm, rotten winged insignia, fire tear and cerulean tear. drink the physic, launch the frenzy and profit... you boost the focus enough to cover cerulean tear and burn out the fp to finish the unendurable frenzy without getting a full madness proc. clarifying meat you can make with momandic cookbook 23 help boost focus also.

This is a really fun build, but it takes Bushy's skills to make it look that overpowered. I tried it too, but had to resort to "normal" fights in many cases. The main problem was the limited access to the Ironjar Aromatic and the RNG heaviness of some boss fights. It is still very enjoyable to absolutely melt some major bosses. The Frenzied Burst is particularly great in the most scenarios. When built around it, it becomes essentially a sniper. Should be part of any faith build's arsenal.

It's neat how you can tell some of the spells apart by the way the player grabs their face. Frenzied burst has you look up while grabbing your face, frenzied flame has you look down etc.

This was a joy to watch. Can you make a video on something like "I always do these before I start a run to make myself stupid powerful"? Things like Radagon's Foreseal and such.

I'm not one for bad endings but Elden Ring for me is a very rare exception even though my preferred one is probably Age of the Stars. If I go for another magic type run, this is a build I'm going for. Like start off as someone "holy" but once I discover the Frenzied Flame, just start treating Madness stuff like it's my new god of the Lands Between.
