Another Cockney odyssey but the first losing one for a long time. But City's injury crisis is now becoming quite severe, with only 11 fit senior players and a squad of 13 outfield players. Still the youngsters along with a few regular first teamers, gave it a good go and nearly forced a penalty shoot out. Also while the Tottenham stadium itself is superb , its location in terms of transport Links is awful. Got back to the pub in the centre at 2350h.

Another great one Jason. It is a nightmare to get out of that place as I flew over on Jan and only got back to Central London late on. Tottenham Court Road was rammed so walked past and got a taxi. .(with an injured foot)!

Highlight of the video was the fantastic creamy looking London Black and the happy, cheery lady at the end! Disappointing result against Spurs who I hate with a passion but it helps us now with the rest of the season and it was good to give the youngsters a run out. Rico is becoming a bit of an enigma, great one moment then very disappointing another. We may need Kyle back sooner than later to help with the counter attacks and have Stonesy pushing into midfield.

Next time you go to tottenham or arsenal you need to visit the blackhorse bier mile on the victoria line. There’s life in London outside of zone 1!

I remember in the 1980s we used to drink in the Whitworth before the game. 20+ of us playing guess the crowd for a quid a go. It was always 26-28 thousand back then. But we considered it very uncool to get to the ground for kick-off and went the whole season never seeing one. If you miss one don’t forget…your just being cool 😎

Spurs stadium is easy enough to get to, you just have to go via Liverpool Street. Either to Northumberland Park or WHL
