Gary what is if we don't have the tool to prime the filter after installing. Is there a way to pre-prime the filter manually?

Yes. When you turn on the ignition without your foot on the brake, the fuel pump will run for approximately 2 sec. Do that 8 times and you should be good to go. If there is a little air left it will just be a longer crank time.

@@treborhammer9652 no. You can fill it manually before closing it up. Or cycle the key (ignition) about 8 times. It’s just easier with the scan tool.

Just fill the filter housing with fresh fuel before closing. It works well.

Just cycle the ignition a few times to initiate the lift pump a few times then.

Thanks will do both suggestions. What are ur thoughts on the fuel pump failure throwing metal into the system? Sounds like a ticking time bomb for us

@@stefano_dj I do it by feel but it would between 3 and 4 NM.
