Great set-up. I thought it was going to be like the sneaky play but the sweeper comes from the other link

Strong dump from the female link, that defender wanted to kill the play so bad!

@@nickmortimer4831 controversial opinion. If you deliberately destroy the ruck in a strike dump. That’s sin bin worthy to me.

@ not saying it’s right, but he gave her a pretty hard shove. Credit to her for executing good technique to set up the try.

That whole game was about stricking everyone down at almost every touch.. It set the tone for the rest of the TWC sadly. That specific defender ended up having a knee injury due to a very touch made from the side and it was not even penalized.

@@touch.screen Recently I noticed that this kind of "borderline hard touches" made at the 7 meters just to destroy the balance of the attacking player have become very common and, to my surprise, are very much tolerated by the referees. The WC was no exception. You can argue the defender was trying to use the attacker's momentum to go back, but in reality, it seems to me he's just trying to unbalance her. Shouldn't the touch be made with the "minimum force" possible? She made a great job in winning the ruck nonetheless, great running line.
