Thank you! Had to replace the screen on my 2017 Chrysler 300C. Replaced the display after that when I encountered some issues with areas not responding to my touch. I managed to shake loose the tiny cylinders in the housing which was no fun, but not impossible to get back in place. Display works like a charm now, got it done for under $200. By the way, that goo they use should be illegal. Spent more time cleaning it off my hands than replacing the screen 😂

Thank you so much. I didn`t need to replace the anything. I imagine most just need to clean the screens, to rid them of all of that gooey glue and replace them. One tip, If I may. Instead of using alcohol, simply apply "peanut butter" to the glue, wait 2 minutes and simply scrape the residue off with a butter or steak knife (with the intentions of not scratching the glass), then dishwashing liquid, then alcohol, or glass cleaner to finish up (that whole process will take minutes, not hours.

So just to be clear, I ordered the new screen to fix this, my issue was it not responding to my touch and randomly clicking and glitching stuff! This new screen will fix that correct or is that something in the radio?

Did it but it has like little bubbles inside, for now is working fine but i am not sure if its gonna last. i think the hardest part is removing the glue, did it with the razor but it doesnt go that easily

This video gave me the courage to do this. BUT! I have a DVD player. And the bottom of the screen and vent covering was screwed into the DVD player. I had to take out the DVD player to get the cover off. I have a 2013 300. I had to call the dealer to get my model radio to make sure I ordered the right one on Amazon. My old cover cracked all over as I tried to get it off. No glue mess. Installed the new one. Put everything back ok. BUT! still does not work and this time. I can control what has buttons but noting on the touch screen works. So the investigation begins. Thanks for the motivation.

Sounds good Ralph! Be sure that the ribbon cable is not loose but all the way in. There may be a little door or flap that holds the ribbon cable in place. I would try those first.

Sounds like you want to replace the digitizer screen for a 2018 300s just like the C Model? They might be similar, I don't know for sure. But if it were me, I would try replacing the digitizer. Just make sure to verify through Amazon that the digitizer will fit the 2018 300s.

Yes. The anti glare coating beginning to disintegrate is an indication the whole digitizer is failing, so it's time to replace it.

Maybe my car is older than the one in the video. the back of my screen has different inputs. And here in Brazil it is very difficult to find this type of parts for this car. There are some others that use the same screen but the background colors are different

Yes you can! If the touchscreen comes back online, you’ve found the problem. If the touchscreen does not work, then it’s time to replace it.

Mine works but the screen is forming a bubble of sorts under it. It makes it to where it acts as if I am touching it when im not and basically it fights with me whenever I do attempt to touch anything. I would remove the digitizer just to see the crack is on the screen. If you find the screen is damaged, the whole thing needs to be replaced.
