Hugo, the work you put in to sharing pieces of your journey are always a breath of fresh air. As someone who lives 1500km from any ocean and in America you are a window to a life I could hardly imagine.

Bonjour Hugo.

A bientôt Hugo Stephane

Hugo, best wishes, hope family is ok, say hi to your mom, and thanks for her captions. You do you! Only you can do you and I personally love watching you navigate this life thing as you do it so well. Nice to see Jack, and can’t wait for more of your sailing life, but like you said, it don’t pay the bills, so I will happily wait, cheers Hugo

Appreciate the news man, thank you. You have inspired me and continue to do so in my own sailing endeavors. Life definitely has its curved balls, but they unfailingly strengthen the brave. “Audentes fortuna juvat”. In French, “La chance sourit aux audacieux”. You are one of them, have no doubt. Looking forward to hearing more from you…whenever :) PS- One of the best sailing videos for me ever is the one you did during the Clipper race on Halong Bay from South America, (Rio?) to Capetown, I have watched it countless times, fantastic surfing in the Southern seas…you are a excellent skipper Hugo who inspires confidence. Bravo!

Salut Hugo !

some things i wanted to say thank you hugo. i came for the refit of annale. apparently this was one of your first videos anyway.... so I've been here a while. enjoyed a lot of it. during your youtube carreer i bought my own boat, sailed it all around europe with a good friend during covid summer 21 and 22. you were certainly a big inspiration for that new life. i like how you just edit and mix videos from different times in your life. its the kind of content youtube was invented for. take as much care for your mum as you can. 90% of the people dont get to sail really until retirement. so i think you can deal with a couple of years of different life. you and annalaure_s still not married is a shame though and really excited for the final carribean videos from years back. btw: i would like to see you combine you two loves: fast sporty sailing and cruising. youtube has many cruisers that spend a lot of time anchoring. and lots of regatta stuff. but nobody who just skips oceans constantly on his own boat. like "alright, i really want to see mosambique so i will solo it from tahiti now in 115 days or something like this :D" ... like a cruising-channel with lots of fast open water sailing. basically what you do with boat delivery already just with your own boat in exotic locations. and if you ever, EVER feel alone... watch "chasing bubbles" by alex rust. if you have not it is a must, if you have already do it again. it keeps my heart going :) ah and never apologize for not posting or editing. lots of youtubers dont put stuff for years... and come back strong. we will be here

My dear Hugo, sailing is a great sport, only all sports are not really horny without a horny athlete ^^. You have shared your life with us a little bit and one was allowed to experience the dream of "do and don't blabla ;)" together with you. I am a fan of sailing, however, I am even more fan of your Charkter. You are a friendly and peaceful person, I wish you as a friend, stay as you are and even if you become a cook... I remain your fan. All the best and may the wind be kind to you :) with happy greetings Gereon

Dear "Hugo The Real Boss" , all singlehanded sailors battle with the difficulties of balancing the importance of family, and the call of the Sea. I was at sea both times when my parents died and as an old man now, it's one of my biggest regrets . Take care of those at home the Sea ,and the 129,000 in your "extended" family will be there when you return.

Stop racing , start exploring , so many amazing places on this planet you'll be missing. You started out as a cruiser , racing is to limited and to competitive with minimal rewards. Rewards are not measured in $ but in the experiences you have on the way.
