Tee hee those name plates with sayings were cute. Even John Wayne made an appearance. Think that sponge was meant to look like a honeycomb. What a ahhhmazingly large assortment of animals! Their displays are amazing & very lifelike. Yay they had some Possums for you.

This was a great one. What a cool, and jam packed little spot. The founder seems like a really interesting man. My favorite display was the flamingo and the foxes! Pretty cool that they had some libe animals in the back too. The bunny was precious!

Taxidermy with captions! I think all taxidermy should have those. Brilliant. I also appreciate their responsible method of getting their animals. Kind of curious what creationism and the Rapture have to do with taxidermy though...odd.
@curtbutterfield19665 жыл бұрын
I didnt realize the museum was still open. Sam and lura owned a taxidermy supply company for 50 years I think it was. The one really crazy looking animal was actually created from 14 different animals. I took their taxidermy course and the certificate had that animal on my certificate. It looks awesome. By the way how much was admission??? If you come to Michigan we have an really incredible taxidermy museum. It is the town of gaylord. The name of the museum is named CALL OF THE WILD. This is because lots of the animals there have the sounds of that animal. I went as a kid and it impressed me so much that I wanted to become a taxidermist. (And I did I had a business for almost 30 years)
