Great video! Not sure how familiar you are with that area, but the road you drove in on (Portelance Rd) is also the snowmobile trail, in winter its very beautiful up there, one of my favorite sections of trail

Man, great video. Upstream in little creek, so tough. With cameras, difficult. Like the paddle/ hike adventures, do them myself in Cincy. Beautiful area, appreciate the hard work to show what an outdoor adventure really is. Thanks. 👍🤘🤘👍

Have you tried standing and poling your canoe? It makes up stream travel even more fun.
@smyproductions12 күн бұрын
I've never tried, I'll give poling a try sometime at my local river maybe when fishing. I think it could be tough on backcountry expeditions if your carrying a significant load of gear

First comment🎉 Great video my friend, just make sure to clean the lens a lil more often. Keep them videos coming.

It would have been interesting to know the names of the creeks, rivers and lakes.

I thought about it, but I also want to be careful not to exploit areas sometimes, especially regarding fishing in some videos

Hey man super beginner question.. when you do these solo river trips with a canoe how do you get back to your car at the end?
@smyproductions2 ай бұрын
Involves getting a shuttle, either by someone else or using a bike, can be a pain to do and limits the distance often...

If that was me id be lost 100 yards from the road simple skills are huge out there ! These types of videos will never get old. Any lessons on land navigation would be appreciated cause i cant read very good lol. Thanks for the footage! 🌲🌿⛰

Thanks man, For portage routes, you should always carry a waterproof or laminated map, especially if more remote and if it's a longer excursion
