fixit4 me the fuel stuff rocks and the warranty has been kicking ass. My m12 stuff has surprised me at how much I actually use it now in my power tool rotation use. The impact is great and light weight and always on me now. Basically everything fuel is a great upgrade m18 or m12. The m12 line is more appealing now for sure.

I know you've posted this video only a couple weeks ago, but how durable has the pouches been so far? Will they stand regular abuse? I see they're not super expensive, so I'm a bit afraid they might not last very long with regular day-to-day use. Because I bought an inexpensive tool bag that looked well made at first glance, but after 3 months screwdrivers and pliers started poking holes everywhere, stitches started to tear, etc.. It had "tough" in the name too, but it turned out to not be so tough after all :P So if I invest in these, I'd like them to last longer than than a few months ahah
@lowvoltagedude78376 жыл бұрын
I abuse my stuff pretty good and I've taken apart a pouch before for the harware and that was a pain. I do think it's a tough product. What did you try before ? What do you do for work? Do you know what pouch your thinking about I might have some advice . They carry some toughbuilt stuff at orchards hardware if you have a store near you you can at least check it out in person . I don't think you will punch a hole in this plus try one out than buy more.
@HCkev6 жыл бұрын
Good to heard they're well built. The tool bag I had was an Hyper Tough, I think that's a Walmart brand or something, probably why it didn't last, although I liked it while it lasted(the layout was well thought out). I'd say these Toughbuild pouches already look better made, they look similar in construction to the Dewalt DG5582 tool bag that replaced the cheap bag. I am a telecommunications technician, or like some people would call it, a cable guy (although I work more on Fiber to the home installations as well a phone lines). I like the idea of the clip and having different pouches for different purposes. I can already see myself having a pouch for when I'm working outside (working on utility poles or running cables on customer's houses using a ladder, often needing to drill holes in concrete or brick walls to screw the cables on the walls) and another, smaller pouch for when I'm working inside the house (running cables, installing fiber/phone/ethernet jacks, sometimes mounting hardware on the wall and tying up the cables so it's not a mess, etc.). And potentially wear the two at the same time to carry more stuff. I'm thinking about getting the Technician pouch for indoor work, where I would mostly need to carry screwdrivers, cutters, pliers, crimp tools, punch tools and such. I like how it's quite compact, allowing me to simply hook it up on my regular pants belt instead of having a separate belt over it. And for outdoor use, I'm not quite sure yet. I'm hesitating between the Small Electrician pouch, the "Tape Measure / Utility Knife Pouch + Notebook & Pencil" or simply the Tape Measure / All Purpose Pouch. I would like to be able to carry my 12V impact driver and 12V drill, they're fairly small so I don't really need a big pouch to carry them, but being able to climb the ladder hands free would a good thing(safety...). Being able to hold screws or other consumables is a big plus (I'm thinking especially when I need to run cables on brick/concrete walls using a ladder, where I need to drill holes, put screw anchors and then screw cable anchors in). The Small Electrician pouch doesn't seem like a good fit for that as it seems too deep and narrow to be able to easily catch screws at the bottom of it; the other two seems more reasonable in that regard. But none of these poches seems particularly well suited to carry screws and stuff like that. Maybe the Supply pouch is what i'm looking if it isn't too big, even though it doesn't have much compartments. But I can always use it in conjunction with the Technician pouch. How big it is? Maybe the Mega supply pouch, but this one looks quite massive. Anyway, thanks a lot or the help, really looking forward for these!

I was wondering about the belts. Do they come with clips or you only get the clips that comes with the pouches? I might order one extra clip to put on my regular pants belt otherwise. Also, they say Waist Adjusts 32"- 48", is that right? I'm more of 29-30" waist, I'm wondering if they really can't be adjusted lower than 32" (No local store seems to have the Toughbuilt stuff, so I can't try them in person, I'll have to order everything online). I might have to use another brand for the belt itself. Or eat more fast food :P
