There is absolutely no challenge to this stage. Par for the course for a final stage I know but this is bad. Have you figured out how to stream bullets? Yes? Then you've beaten this stage.
Rin similarly doesn't put up much of a fight as a mid-boss. Honestly the distracting flashiness of her spell was more dangerous than the attack itself. Which honestly isn't saying much.
Now Utsuho herself on the other hand is where the difficulty lies. As you might expect from our resident nuke chick her attacks are all incredibly overwhelming. However the most deadly part of her attacks isn't the large shots so much as the smaller ones they hide. Pay close attention to the attacks and watch out for what you truly need to avoid in this battle.

My god yes, Koishi's the one I've been dying to see the most. She has some of the most bizarre attacks out of any extra stage boss it's going to be amazing to see how MinusT incorporates them into 3D (also gonna be real neat to see how he handles Yukari, Suika, and Aya all buffing Reimu the same way Nitori, Alice, and Patchy buffed Marisa)

Yeah, Heaven and Hell Meltdown is where I gave up on the game. My brain just cannot follow attacks coming at me from two opposite directions. And thanks to Orin I never had enough lives left by the time I reached Okuu to tank her spells with bombs. Maybe I'll give it another go, but I should probably wait until I can beat EoSD first.

You know... some of these bullet patterns are so odd in these games, half the time I'm too distracted by all the fancy, colorful light displays they make to even pay attention to the player characters.

I must say, I definitely think Reimu/Suika have a better conversation with Utsuho than Marisa/Alice. There's just something intimidating about being told by an *Oni* of all things to GTFO because it's not a problem you can deal with...

If I remember that conversation correctly, Utsuho also not-so-subtly says she wants to eat Reimu once she gets burnt enough And then Suika makes a comment about how Utsuho's diet is probably mostly fried meat (aka burnt corpses) and how her health is probably terrible

I love my hell bird so much. Never manages to reach her but...she has such a huge place in my heart and life. Even if I have a boyfriend now, Utsuho will always be number one. I'm also cosplaying her, finally managed to make the portable wings.

Well that's certainly a hell-er-rough boss! That said I can totally see what you mean by overwhelming. It looks like she's trying to go for intimidation tactics with her patterns, I mean look at those suns, they're huge! Also having Marisa poke out from behind the wings was adorable.

Yep, her schtick is distract and overwhelm. You're always in fear of those large bullets when in fact the ones you should watch out for are the mass of small bullets that are closing you in. The large bullets are also really intimidating for newbies, it takes some time to get comfortable with their hitboxes, but once you get used to it you get more freedom when dodging and grazing.

Something funny is.... As Reimu C, I accidentally killed Orin in this stage in the middle of the cutscene with a bomb, thus skipping Blazing Wheel entirely. I do have a replay available, and can show this again, and what happens because of it... Or I could if I had a software to record the game. It was pretty funny, and I thought I soft locked the game.

It's kind of a shame that the spell card names Hell and Heaven Meltdown and Hell's Artificial Sun were only used for her normal difficulty version. Imo those names are a lot cooler than their hard/lunatic counterparts.
