Touhou 16 - Hidden Star in Four Seasons | All Final Spell Cards (Lunatic)

Oh man, these are pretty hard!
So at the end of the game, the boss takes the season you used and uses a spell based on that season against you. All of these are quite difficult and probably all qualify for being the hardest attack in the fight. However, even then there's still quite the difference in difficulty. Winter and Autumn are not too bad, and both have a bit of "staticness" to them I think. Summer is really hard and feels like it can just decide to become impossible if the big icicles decide to spawn in a stupid manner. Spring is probably the hardest, and feels like PDH-tier reading mixed with more walling potential and "actually having to follow the boss to deal damage". Some claim it's harder than PDH (Pristine Danmaku Hell. Junko's (Lunatic) Final), I feel like people could eventually get consistent on it to at least the same level as PDH so I'm not too sure about it.
Also, I think I've found out how to render videos better? I dunno, we'll see next time.

So... as someone who is used to playing Touhou Lunatic, here's my luck with these cards: "Hidden Extreme Winter": Lunatic capture with ~30 attempts "Hidden Perfect Summer Ice": Over 200 Lunatic attempts, could only capture on Hard "Hidden Crazy Fall Wind" Nearly 200 Lunatic attempts, could only capture on Hard with over 70 attempts (lots of would be captures, though) "Hidden Breezy Cherry Blossom": Haven't put much work into it, but I can tell it's the hardest of the bunch. Honestly, I think, with the exception of Hidden Extreme Winter, they are all harder than PDH. I think the players who say PDH is harder have simply gotten better at handling these types of spells, since LoLK came out.

Nice! Really enjoying HSiFS so far, definitely one of the easiest Touhou games so far but that doesn't make it any less fun for me. Why is the summer spell ice-based tho??

Technically I'd Guess the Summer type is ice based since Cirno's the character with the Summer season tacked on.

They are just based off the seasons going berserk due to Okinawa messing with them, so summer is now winter.

OBS doesn't play nice with Touhou, but I dunno what to recommend. My best results have come from increasing the bitrate and praying. PoFV is near impossible to record but LoLK was alright so it's in between there.

I feel like "Perfect summer ice" should be a winter spell, while 'Extreme Winter' a summer spell, with green or warm colors.

Gengetsu I wouldn't really argue for that because the cards are based on the power of the season shot type that's being carried around. This is why autumn final shoots arrowheads that come in 3 lanes at each side and extreme winter puts you between lasers Marisa-style. Perfect summer ice copies the ice in the summer shot.

Call me weird if you must...but i actually find the fall card is just as hard as spring card D: (People had been saying that Spring is the hardest while winter & fall are the easiest) Winter card is the easiest while summer...duh.. Captured on 1st try on story mode but could never cap it anymore via spell practice lol.

In fact, Okina 's final is pretty easy compared to PDH because Okina move during all the fight and you haven't any power item, thus is why she seems to be so hard
