This shot type is FUN. It's amazing and pretty much the best-case scenario I hoped for with summer. Kinda on the broken side at times, but it's a Touhou game so I've learned to accept it honestly.

ZUN doesn't associate summer with ice. He associates fairies with summer. As a Fairy, Cirno has great connection to Nature and so, like all fairies, holds the power of Summer's energy. Just because Cirno is an Ice Fairy doesn't mean she's not connected to Summer.

Nexie Terithu I never really believed that Clownpiece was the new Strongest Fairy since she has yet to do anything Cirno has done as her time as a playable character xd (She only helded her own against Okuu but that's still an impressive feat by itself)

Remember that Clownpiece is so strong because Junko purified her; with her ability operating at absolute refinement, she was able to single-handedly result in the entirety of LoLK Stage 5. Because of this, honestly her strength in battle says more about the strength of Junko's ability than it does about Clownpiece's native ability.

The season incident was caused by the fairies going berserk, so they wouldn't have made much sense, even as midbosses.

Still would make more sense than an umbrella shooting at you while you chase a flying ship. I mean, some bosses in there are so irrelevant to the plot you could put anyone in there.

Honestly, considering that the point of the incident in the first place was to reveal unknown, powerful youkai who could become Okina's servants, it would make more sense to have the characters we have in place in the official version to be there instead of a character like Minoriko or Letty, and _especially_ not Yuka. If it makes anyone feel any better, SA gets all the way to Stage 4 without introducing a single character who is actually relevant to the plot. So even if Kogasa is pointless, she at least comes after a very pointy Nazrin, who you know is searching for the pieces of the Soaring Vault. (Granted, among all of the Stage 1 bosses, Nazzy is probably the most relevant out of any of the Touhou games)

I found that at the beginning of stage 4, you can start beside the graze counter on the far right and slowly inch down for the red bullet phase. Then you can move to the left at the blue bullet phase. It's rather safe on all difficulties. For example, I can't get a 1cc normal on sa but could pull that off on lunatic 9/10.

I've used AVG in the past. In order to bypass files getting deleted every time, you need to go into AVG's settings, look for Exceptions, and then add your Touhou folders as folders to be ignored whenever AVG does any kind of scan.
