the erhu really makes this theme stand out, i love how it almost sounds like wailing at some moments, and the contrast between it's eerieness/sadness with the frantic piano and percussion, which then transition into a more traditional melody-heavy zunpet chorus while keeping elements of the rest of the song made it my favorite track of the entire game tldr i really hope zun uses an erhu more often in his music, this was amazing in every possible way

@@yukari8768 I don't agree with the last part, most of the new characters didn't originate from Chinese myth. They still mostly came from Japanese myth, but Japanese myth originated from China. As for the sound, I really don't know what sound it is, it do sound like some traditional singing performance that both China and Japan has.
