@TheGreenRaven303 Is Japanese side-scroll shooters, you'll notice that you won't die if you get hit in outer extremities, like Viddaric aid, your character has a hitbox. In this game, it's really ahrd to see in this video because of the quality, but look closely at the white part of her dress, you'll see a blurry red spot. That is your character's hit box. You can get hit anywhere else but there. Hope that helps.

btw the player hitbox in touhou games is about the same size as the 'dot' bullets shotted at the start by the fairies (and by the books , easier to see because it's slower) and the bullets have an hitbox too , about 60 % of the image and also there is a patch for eosd to see your hitbox

Danmaku is a Japanese word that translates into bullet curtain and danmaku games are also called bullet hell games, for obvious reasons. Touhou also has other games like Scarlet Weather Rhapsody which is like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter, Touhouvania which is a cross between Touhou and Castlevania, and Touhou Sky Arena which is like the areal battles from some DBZ games but with Touhou characters.

A hitbox is the part of your sprite where you can be hit. In every Touhou game after Touhou 6, you can see your hitbox if you focus. Bullets have hitboxes too. The big bullets with the white edge can't hit you if you aren't directly in the middle of them. Also, Reimu's hitbox is a little bit smaller than Marisa's.

@Fortem As someone who only recently has been able to 1cc Normal with ReimuA and MarisaA, and still only occasionally, I can tell you it isn't as bad as it seems. Getting to Flandre may take a few tries to get accustomed to the level, but beating her is fairly difficult. Give it a shot or 100 =D.

when u get to the site (u may have to register to see the forums) go to the doujin soft subforums(near the bottom i believe) and click doujin soft plaza that should get u to the games downloads section. then just scroll down till u find the game u want (use winrar or something like it to extract the files kuz they will b RAR types) hope that helps:)
