This is a TAS, as in a programmed bot is playing the game, not a human.

Not always. TAS can also refer to someone simply using a tool to lower the framrate of the game (since Touhou 11 is tied FPS to gamespeed), making the game a LOT easier. Judging by the movements, I'd say this was roughly 10-15fps gameplay, if he did that method. If it was actually a bot programmed for it, then he did a pretty bad job on it since this boss is easy.

Ryan Wheeler Just like Zhuinden said, TAS don't have a mind of their own, there's actually a human that told him what input to press at every frames beforehand (at 1 sec go up, at 2 sec go diagonal, at 3 sec go right, etc.) A good bot is harder to program, as you need to make it detect the particles/colors and ask it to dodge it while also making predictions as to where else should be safe spot to not get hit.
