It's easier for them to notice that aspect behind the endings in Touhou 3 because they speak the language it's in after all. ^^; But I agree, they defiantly payed Touhou 3 the proper homage it deserves in many respects altogether here.

@@KazeKoichi only touhou in 2. also technically in touhou 1, but the game had reimu be on the ground all the time. touhou 3-5 shows reimu flying without the turtle, so she can fly in the majority of the games. also just to clarify, this MV is based on touhou 3 where reimu already could fly.

I love the Touhou PC-98 era. Honestly though; Touhou PC-98 has got some of the best music, amazing humor, and an extremely colorful cast of characters. It's a shame that it's been so under-appreciated, but I'm glad to see that this circle has tackled PC-98 Touhou, it's a treat. Well done SOUNDHOLIC, you've done a fan of that timeline justice.

Lunairetic I think some of us would like to see more PV's with the story depth of "Priere," which Sound Holic released three years ago. Granted, the lyrics in this video do tell a story...but if you watch "Priere" you'll notice the difference between its atmosphere of mystery and sadness and that of this video, which mostly has a lot of flashes and explosions (I do enjoy explosions, though).

原作では実は教授は長髪で腰まで髪の毛がありますね。とりあえずソクラテスがいるのに酷使されている玄爺がいないとは…教授はwin版での復活が噂されることもありましたけど、実際復活することはあるのだろうか？東方史上最強ボスの一角である教授が復活するのが楽しみではある。魅魔も復活したらいいな。あそこまでのカリスマキャラは他にいない。

Lunairetic Genji never had any lines of dialog after SoEW, but Reimu's sprite still showed her riding him during PoDD - MS.

Really? Well since it's all eye-straining and pixelated during the PC-98 era I couldn't know for sure. He was practically cast away and Reimu managed to figure out how to fly by herself somehow (tutoring from Mima? idk), but all in all Genjii is pretty much neglectable in general, at the very least after SoEW... Maybe ZUN just forgot to remove him from Reimu's sprite after SoEW?

Lunairetic Hard to say how Reimu learned to fly. Since her method is completely different from everyone else including Mima.

But she just spontaneously went "oh hey I don't need this dumb old turtle" behind the scenes of Touhou and that was during the time Mima was still a playable character and important to Marisa, who is important to Reimu. Yeah it is hard to say how she did learn to fly, but any other explanation would be pretty insane. Yukari only appeared for the first time in PCB and Rinnosuke did, I believe, sometime during Windows era post-EoSD (don't read the mangas, so dunno). All other characters aren't really that personally connected to Reimu which may have some sort of mysticism aura about them...
