I'm glad people agree with this DiPP AND Hifuu club is so goddamn goated the brainrot I have of Album girls are as strong as the ones I have in the games Mary the Magician is the type of song that leaves an eerie but soothing tone of sorrow in my opinion. You can feel yourself descending into the darkness and turning from direction to direction, perhaps even looping in places where you have been but can't remember. A feeling of subtle restlessness and a fear that can't subside but instead willing to travel more into that darkness. That's how I see it anyway. (Especially Dipp's Circus Reverie and the strange everyday life of the flying shrine maiden) Circles like Diao Ye Zong has made it even better with their arranges and songs like Burial Gathering or Tombstones if you havent checked them out. Their newest release of pikinini kumul is great too. Whelp I really yapped a ton on this one but hey Touhou album appreciation is great.

I always look forward to finding arranges of Mary the Magician. It's so unique from all of ZUN's music in that I want to hear it in a tone darker than I could even imagine. I think I can say that this version holds that top spot for me now.
