While I know that I myself don't have the skills to beat this Extra Stage were I to challenge it, it strikes me as pretty... easy, as far as Extra Stages go. Still, I can't help but really like it. It looks and feels like an idol is trying to bedazzle the player to death.

Fun but easy Extra, yes. Even myself who isn't too skilled with Touhou beyond Normal difficulty, I've cleared Riko 4 times already and the 4th time was almost a no-miss run. Just a question though, how do you get the game to run at 60FPS while still keeping the background? :V My computer can easily handle all the other Touhous at 60FPS so it can't be the computer. I've heard the game has trouble with FPS.

The reason it's slow is that Danmakufu interprets everything in real time rather than compiling and calculating/loading some stuff ahead of time. It doesn't know what it needs before it gets it, which slows it down a lot.

Oh yeah it is. I've cleared it with Reimu's homing bullets (Forgot if that's A or B, I think it's B in that game) and SanaeA, but neither of them was easy. Byakuren alone is so hard that I lost all 6 of my spare lives to her before pinning her down on my last life

There is no way this is fan-made! This could be just me, but it feels like ZUN made this. This person has a really good soundtrack, it feels like I'm listening to a ampted up version of Zun's music. I hope to make something like this someday.

Was just about to say, that the nonspells could have had more fantasy. They were very boring after the 4th one. I'd say the first 3 is ok, I can see similar concepts for other bosses (like Mokou's rings or Miko's first 3 nonspells) but after it, there could have been something different.
