its pretty amazing how you dont need dialogue to understand the interaction of the characters, all pure from body language and thats one of Mirae strength as animator, also the previous community post teaser makes Yuugi looks like the bad guy here but it turns out she is trying to help the poor dude and the chireiden cast at the same time, def great work Mirae.

It's really difficult to create animation without dialogue. There are many times when I feel so tired while making this that I want to add dialogue. But I am enjoying it very much. I don't hate this method. I never once thought it was boring. in fact, it was more fun. And I want to make you comfortable with sound and sight, and I want to eliminate the language barrier. Thank you for your positive evaluation of my style :)

Satori youkai's are hated for their mind-reading abilities. This seems like something *very* likely as to why Koishi closed her 3rd eye. Mirae taking advantage of the lack of information to make their own, very cool.

It was only one punch for what he caused and what happened to Koishi, but I like to think that one of Utsuho's strikes is like one of the Hulks. An earthquake to the face.

Basically, yeah. In every fighting game she appears in, she's treated as the Heavy, and even Okina admitted that Flandre would struggle against Okuu (likely because she's the living embodiment of the sun and Flandre's a vampire).

I think we commonly forget Mirae can make serious/horror types of animations He (assuming bcuz the closest thing we got to his voice was his Q&A, which congrats on 50k) tends to make funny, wholesome, epic fighting or goofy animations and then this.... hits hard.

Thank you. The most effective way to cool down an overheated okuu is to hear cat friend cry. In fact, there was more play time than 2 minutes, but i had no choice not enough work time, i have divided the part. I don't know when I'll be making the next Extra, but for now, I've already the storyboard. :)

It’s really just hard to see koishi in a sad bloody state like that. Just being crushed from just doing something so nice. Only to then get it denied and beat up later. Glad that Utsuho beat that 1st one up like that but still seeing as koishi almost walking into that beam to end it all was…… sad. And seeing that last bit of her standing their all bloody up with a sad expression on her face was heartbreaking.

That monster in white deserved that nuclear punch from Okuu so much for beating up Koishi into a bloody mess. Okuu was so close to killing that monster in green though when he didn’t do anything but stood there watching his friend beat up Koishi in horror. Anyways, awesome video as always. Seems a bit odd that Ustuho has the Yatagarasu, Third Leg, and Elephant's Foot, since this appears to be a prequel of sorts, but those are all things she would not have gotten until Kanako's intervention with Gensokyo. But other than that minor detail, this is fantastic!

Don't mess with Okuu's family or you'll have hell to pay. Also, it's interesting that Okuu has her arm cannon and third eye before Koishi's third eye closed. I always assumed Koishi disappeared and then Okuu ate Yatagarasu

@@f.u.m.o.5669 Canonically, most likely (though not confirmed, it's implied that Koishi had closed her eye a while before the beginning of SA, which of course only started because Okuu ate Yatagarasu). The animator is just taking creative liberties, which as an Okuu fan I respect, especially since we got some awesome Okuu moments.

Poor Koishi had to go through all that trouble and pain. There's no wonder she closed off her third eye from the world. Thank goodness for Yuugi coming in to hold Okuu while Orin came in on time to stop Okuu from doing something she'd regret later. This video is a bit different from the usual silly and fun videos, but it is still amazing and has decent storytelling. Thank you, Mirae for this awesome animation and work!

Part 2 is here :3 We see how Okuu shows her loyalty towards Komeiji sisters especially to Koishi even tho she's quite an illiterate person Yuugi really meant to stop Okuu from creating incidents which the Hakurei Shrine Maiden forbids to happen Feel sad for Koishi since she chooses to close her third eye in exchange to only be seen by anyone through subconscious and losing such emotions
