I actually like the idea of them showing the home as it comes rather than a show home!

Love you guys ! So enjoyable to watch and I like the way you throw in alternative uses of space. I bought a new build 20 years ago, it's amazing how fashions have changed and designs have improved. I knocked through my dining room and kitchen, created a penisula with bar stools - I've never regretted it ! Cost a bomb but worth every penny. I guess fashions will change again in time and everyone will want a separate dining room lol x

Nice to see this house as it is. We could live in that house nicely if we had more funds!!

I like the diamond shaped window on the front door, retro. Love the bay window/doors into the garden. I like a detached garage. 😁 Tiled window sill 👍 Good idea about using the ceiling as a template for your furniture! Huge living room!

Not me thinking there was a real cat in the utility in the little pet basket. Have my glasses now and on better inspection I’ve realised - I should never take my glasses off again. 🤣

We find after redoing our bathroom and changing from a radiator to a towel rail the room is very cold , they don’t really throw any heat out, just warm the towels
@ElliotNMatt2 жыл бұрын
Not found that with our current towel rail in our own homes but maybe it’s to do with size of rail vs room?

I live a few minutes down the road past this development! On this plot of land thousands of new homes being built and yet zero infrastructure being built to support these homes! The area can’t even handle the traffic it has already! Crazy!

That kind of house in the Netherlands would cost roughly near or over a million pounds nowadays. Much better value for money in the UK as far as I can tell 😎

UK people, why the massive garden??? The homes are beautiful but soo tight inside!! They could literally increase the square foot of the house if they use half the garden… but hurra 🎉🎉🎉 for Elliot and Matt…💜

We like big gardens for the kids and pets to play in. Also lots of people like to grow vegetables in their gardens and some people keep chickens Also a slightly smaller home is better for the heating. That’s why we have lots of rooms, because they trap the heat in them in the winter.

I'm with you Erica on this. I don't use my garden other than for letting the kid go down his small slide and letting the dog out to the loo. If they want to play outside they've got parks or the street which is quiet enough to be safe to play. I don't enjoy sitting outside other than in a public place, I find the quietness of a private garden rather boring, otherwise I'll sit inside in the shade.

@@ElliotNMatt it's also for fire reason. Saves looking for your keys if house is on fire. Alot of elderly people leave keys in the door and this prevents this issue. Continue doing a brilliant job.

I think they sold properties in manchester really nice homes but new builds tend to get bad reviews which is really off putting

Husband said it’s likely the floor / building was too cold for the glue to set in the toilet downstairs. That should have been rectified before the public was allowed in… little bit unprofessional. Lovely house though, like always. Fantastic videos!

Really don’t like this house - it’s awful - There isn’t much room in that downstairs toilet. That garden is so overlooked - it’s awful. The kitchen is crammed - the master bedroom is so small - no room for wardrobes - shower room is ok. That’s the problem with new estates - everyone is on top of each other - terrible

Not £382,000 if you want any of the upgrades add circa 20k SHOCKING 😮

No storage in the bedrooms and why have you a boiler tank and not a combi. Rather have an old house than a new one sorry.
@ElliotNMatt2 жыл бұрын
It’s more a pressure system. When you have so many bathrooms etc the homes benefit from the extra. (They are combi boilers)
@magooccna2 жыл бұрын
Stop commenting these houses are nice, they are dingy. So you'll buy a house for 400k and put your clothes under the bed? Soon developers will just make allowance for bed and nothing else.
