I agree with you. Diddy Kong, Birdo, Hammer Bro, Kamek, Petey Piranha, Monty Mole, Nabbit, King Bob-omb, Pauline, Chargin Chuck, Funky Kong and Dixie Kong all need to be playable in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Me : Come on Nintendo, give us more characters in MK8DX. Nintendo : How about this instead? (Eat a Fire Flower which is written "prefers adding tracks than characters", then throw a fireball written "Doesn't listen to its fans")

@@Jedededededede Not really, all the animations are ported from Deluxe for the characters that appear there too, I actually think Tour has more interesting animations, specifically the characters that pull out objects for their tricks like Golf Luigi, Daisy Thai Dress, Rosalina Chef etc, I think the only character that does anything similar to that in Deluxe is Link.

I personally think they will, just not yet. Once Mario Kart Tour shuts down the characters just like the tracks will become unplayable. That’s why they’re bringing over tracks from Tour as a way to archive their work. However, if they did the same thing for characters / karts / glides. People would stop wasting their money on gambling for them in Tour as they can simply play as them on the Switch.

I mean I would really love for there to be a character booster pass but it probably won’t happen. Because if they were gonna bring the characters over they’d have to change and make animations for all the new ones to fit with mk8’s play style as well as make new character physics, horns, voice lines etc
