They do but it would be a waste of money when people buy the game anyway, there no need for effort when thing sells well with basic recolors and costume a 13 year old could do

I’ll never understand the thing with pink gold peach, it’s a character that shouldn’t exist and it took a slot that could’ve gone to a decent character someone might actually play as. At least Metal Mario and Tanooki make sense and are actual things in the Mario universe, and I always thought Tanooki was funny so I’m glad to have him around. Also I keep wondering why Goomba was never playable. I imagine him driving a kart by using his feet, it seems like something doable. Paper Mario would be super cool and creative, especially since I had so much fun with Color Splash (it’s so good!!) and was looking into the older ones! However he doesn’t seem to speak or have any voice in the games to my knowledge. This was even pointed out in Color Splash! So voice clips if any might’ve been pretty interesting…

I made the Huey and its super easy replacing the texture to any character you'd like cause Huey is pretty much just a PNG image, I just really like the look of Huey.
