I know this is an old comment, but I'm replying anyway. DO IT, honestly, just go get one. I have been a car person for years but decided to try riding not long ago and I'm happy I did. So enjoyable, you can go to a hangout/cafe in the hills where all the bikers go and just chat to any of them about bikes and the feeling you get is something different compared to that of a car. Feel so much more alive!

Just go mate, you'll figure out the basics quick enough. Just got back from a month in Vietnam on a moto Saigon to Hanoi. Did a lot of hand gesturing and sketching or getting folk who could help/understand me write down my destination to show to folk along the way. Shake it up and get amongst it

Brilliant mate I did 1000miles from Montreal to NC on a 1098 duke in my summer jacket, in similar conditions. I thought it'll warm up from 32f(0c) as i went south, it didn't stuffing paper leaflets in your jacket like a scarecrow works honest. haha. :) great video. p.s. you don't wear ear plugs?

Baron, would you recommend me getting the Drift Ghost for next year's riding-season? Some says that it's out-dated but honestly, I think it looks great, even compared to the GoPro3. It's just the bad "low-ligtht" qualtiy that's worrying me, since I ride alot at night. Is it really worth spending 100€+ extra for the Ghost-S? Since I'm studying, this is alot of money for me.

My first tour on my bike was a 3 day 1500 mile round trip it was the most brutal ride I've ever done. I only had my first bike for 1 week and I was ill prepared. I'm from south Florida and when I hit north Georgia it was 37 degrees. Next trip I make will but MUCH smoother.

I empathise with the frozen penis feeling on a freezing cold journey. That's why I tend to wear two pairs of boxers when riding in frigid temperatures. A heated seat would be a nice luxury too which I don't have.

Just had my bike broken on a parking lot while buying lunch, fucker ran it over... So now while waiting to see if it's written off or repairable, watching BVG suffer in the biting cold makes me miss riding slightly less Side note, my bikes a k8 GSXR 600, which i chose as my first due to this channel, didn't have the balls to start on a 1000, but now that it might be dead and gone i guess an upgrade is in order.
