I always thought it amazing Massimo managed to stay with Robert and Philipe up such climbs, he was so big next to them. You'd have to feel sorry for the two riders going off course at the finish. Great memories, thanks for sharing.

This is still really hard to watch. I would have been the only notable victory of Bouvatier's career by a considerable margin.

I remember this well. Millar followed the French lad off the course. Easily done.
