That was really great, Ray. Really good supplemental stuff since I was able to Skip/Quick watch most of the tour this year from about Stage 7 (missed your home rides 🙁) What a great competition it has been, Jumbo-Visa has quite a team. It is pretty amazing the amount of money that goes into the teams and the production for this event, considering there is no money being paid for viewing or attending it. It is all coming from advertising (TV) and sponsorship.

The bikes on the racks are placed on the racks in a particular order. GC an important riders will have the bikes placed on the outside so mechanics can easily dismount them in a hurry. Most mechanics will have a sheet of paper which helps them to locate each rider's bike on the rack. Mechanics usually stick the cheat sheet to the back headrests.

That was one of Pogacar's key lieutenants, Rafal Majka (from UAE) who had a muscle tear when it happened right as Tadej was trying to get the Yellow jersey back. I do think they did say on TV that the swearing was for the manufacturer which was new to the team, although Ray is probably right that it was more likely an installation problem or even picking up something from the road. I can't imagine a chain at this level just failing.
