What don’t they put people with flags in front of those islands to signal the obstacle? The sign is visible only to the people in front. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Made me wonder if it is the first time these people have organized a race. Why not put tall markers there instead of the short barrels? Did they think that the racers would be all spaced apart so they could each see the road in front of them? What a disaster in planning.

Is strange, typically they would have a police office blowing a whistle at those locations.

4:03 So Arnaud de Lie causes Mads Pedersens crash by straight diving into sam bennet that in turn then bumps straight into Mads Pedersen who in turn gets fucked in the barriers. I feel they should analyze these sort of crashes and relegate no matter what, no tolerance what so ever. Real punishments 2 times and its out of the race finito. That was about as wreckless cycling as I have ever seen. But congrats to Cavendish, he would have won regardless, its just pure disgusting what happened behind him. And in fact who provoked the situation to start with, yes Jasper phillipsen as always. However I think Arnaud de Lie is the culprit mostly here. But Jasper swang all from left to right to follow Cavendish just in front of the others provoking a swing of the other riders to create their own space then smashing Mads Pedersen to the barriers and today he has to leave tdf due to finding out his shoulderblade was broken. I feel like punishments should come abrupt and fast. The crashing is making tdf and other races way to unreliable for cyclists careers and no its not really an exciting part of the race anymore its simply too much. Im really not a fan of Phillipsen due to the fact he is completely reckless in his behavior in these sprints, and even trying to close people completely down instead of just winning the sprint by power. We saw it several times last year and the year before, and this is after Jakobsen almost died and ended in a coma due groenewegen doing the same to him. This sport needs disciplining on the crashes, if someone causes a crash It should be looked like something to punish. If someone does this in F1 they get punished severely. They know there is a person that causes a crash, its not just oh there was a crash unlucky.

Meh, ok I guess but not really a fan of Cav. Mads just the most recent victim of his riding. Any Cav fans want to bet on how long he stays in the tour? My guess is he drops out at the first whiff of a hill… so yea, he earned it and is a great sprinter, but there’s no confusing him with Merckx
