Thanks a lot guys, very useful. Hiked the TMB last year, and actually flying out to Spain early August this year to hike the GR11. Interesting to hear them in comparison. Also, you two look very cute together :-)

It is our pleasure! Thank you for the kind words. Great to hear about your plans, hope you enjoy your hiking trip! Which part of GR11 are you going to hike?

@@WalkingNatureWorld you're welcome. I'm actually thinking about thru-hiking it within 30 days or less. It might be a bit too ambitious and rushing it, but I think it's doable as I'm fit enough and see it as a challenge as well. Or would you advise against it based on your experience?

@@poeskloek We have read about many examples of people doing it as a whole and based on that it is doable. You just need to be prepared for some unexpected situations and be flexible to changes if needed. We would advice to follow the official GR marks and classic trail and not to deviate from trail much as it often presents an extra challenge. If you start from the lower parts and gradually will be coming higher closer to the middle you can decide how you feel and whether you are ready to progress further. Also plan enough rest days in between the parts. TMB still remains less difficult for us and more trodden as we said with more people on the path. But in August you are more likely to find more people even on GR11. So the best advice would be is to be prepared for anything and stay flexible. We hope you have an unforgettable experience and get what you want from it!
