Oh my goodness, you just gave me a flashback Charles! I spent my teens and early twenties in the DC area. My very first concert was at Merriweather Post Pavilion. I also used to go to the original 930 Club in DC. 😁

I went to my best friend‘s wedding when I was pregnant with my son who would be my second child so I was taking care of my toddler who at the time just turned 2. I thought I had it and barely felt pregnant at the beginning of the 12 Hour drive from Vermont to North Carolina but at the end of the drive I got out of the car and thought oh yeah I am pregnant and it’s hard to get around. For reference it was end of August for the wedding and I was due mid November so I just started my third trimester and had to keep a 2 yr old happy. After that trip when we got home, I took the rest of the pregnancy to relax and prepare, but wouldn’t change it for the world. Had a great time. Glad I got the chance to do it.

Allie looked exhausted 😢 but I’m sure she had fun 🫂 I’m looking forward to watching Remi being a big sister. My son just sent me pictures of his oldest’s 1st day of school last year & her first day this year. They re-enacted last years pic minus a Barbie doll they couldn’t find for this year’s picture. It’s sooooo adorable because her and her younger sister are holding hands in both pics. My son and daughter-in-law are making sure they’re both caring children. It does make a difference as they get older. 💞

That first venue did seem real nice. Looked like kind of a covered outdoor arena. The tour also looked like a good time but glad you are finally getting to go home. Everyone should enjoy the homecoming :)

I lived in Yardley, PA for maybe a year when I was Remi’s size. Started 1st grade there. In 96 I went back. Never will forget living off of the Delaware River. If it flooded over for a few hours, it didn’t take long for it to recede. Missing New Hope very much. In 96 they had some good coffee houses. It’s been 28 years for me and I miss the peace & quiet there.
