Your home is beautiful Susan and I am so glad you didnt go typical Miami (I live here also) this is so elegant but not stiff. I can definitely see the kids running around and that kitchen being used.

I adored your renderings .. your kitchen is gorgeous.. love the marble , timber base cabinets, the nook looks cozy, & gorgeous detailed lighting pieces in all rooms , the library is luxe and the light coming in the kitchen & living room is wonderful. The Hood fan is placed way too high. The island lights are too wide apart. The kitchen banquette is too passe (old fashioned) and doesn't work well with those chairs. The dinette bar light is not appropriate. Bar light should not be on a dinettes...it's more suitable for the island. The kitchen cabinet's handle (second one down) is not placed right. You will have a hard time bending down to get that cabinet The wall sconces are not good size/style and well placed. You can't have sconces on the side of a TV. The family room furniture is not proportional. The sofa is small, the coffee table is too wide and high. The side tables are a wrong shape. The TV unit is a wrong shape/style. The library room...I don't even want to bring it up. BTW... the rendering is way too basic...what software did they use...from the 90's...wow. Very disappointing. It's too bad cause things could be better thought out in terms of design/style and timelessness. Sorry but I'm not impressed specially if you're gone spend a lot... 😓@lulugemhome

The hood fan is proportionate to the stove. The lighting over the banquette is unexpected and gorgeous. The chairs at the banquette are perfect and reminiscent of Copenhagen. Not going to respond to every point because who has time. I’ve been doing interior design for 24 years & I think this space is very well done & personalized for their needs. Maybe your needs are different? Blending style & function is very personal to lifestyle, the same as clothing choices.

@@monicapatton1405 Sorry but if design & functionality is wrong...has nothing to do with their needs. There is so much more to say. Btw the smaller drawers with such a wide spread 2 tiny handles...please tell Susan how she has to use both hands to open each of those drawers. How can u use 2 hands when cooking in the kitchen? lol Also the stools are sooo not child friendly. I know how heavy that base is and how it's gone ruin those floors in no time. Any how...good luck 😅 Btw it's one of biggest pet peeves of mine when designers put the hood/cook fan so high up that when sitting all u see is the fan under it...ruins the entire design of the kitchen. But then again almost 80% of designers do the same old same old...no one thinks outside the box. Bye 👋 (Good design is all about the details and there are so many mistakes in the details here) 🤭
