I have the 8x16 RJO15k bought last year. It’s perfect in my dads fl backyard. Gives me my own private, safe place when visiting. I love being able to crank the ac to the max with no complaints from old dad. Lol

Hello- I was there the day you came to see your house. My appointment was before yours and I saw you walking around because we were running late, I felt so bad. I had purchased the 8x24 RJO that was on sale. I had come to ITH from Texas after driving a long ways! I stayed there on property at The Big Grey Tiny. I wanted the beach house, but you were already staying there! My home is going to Alabama, The Cottages at Pine Lake, after leaving Tennessee I drove to Alabama to see the property there and loved it. So! All that being said, that’s where I will be going once my house is built and ready. I love your video here girl, and thank you for your honesty and I couldn’t agree with you more in your words and heart. Best to you! ♥️

Everything you said in this video Amen! I have been watching Randy and Amanda since 2018 and I have been fascinated by Incredible Tiny Homes since then! I have loved seeing them succeed and grow and look at them now! I watched live when they took the first tiny house into the Forest and I may have shed a tear watching. The Forest is Gorgeous too! I would love to someday just walk it and just soak in the beautiful homes there. I wish you the best on your adventure and you made the right decision. Great video!

Thanks for the video. I'm glad you put so much thought into choosing the right company for you. I have been watching them for about 2 years and I finally took the plunge and got an 8x24 special they just had. I am thrilled. I will be taking it to FL. I'm not expecting mine to be completed for another 6 mo. I know they had a lot more interest in their special than anticipated.

The old panels are the recycled panels. They're recycled from the unused parts of storm doors, I believe. But their supply got low, so now they're using the new panels that aren't recycled, just purchased for their construction. I prefer the look of the new panels because its sleeker, as well as the walls are thicker than the old panels, which means more insulation. And I believe the 10'x20' home you're staying in is a wood built home, so there's no panels behind the wood. I think right now the only models they're making with the panels are the incredibox, incredicottage, and this new 8'x24' they just came out with. All the other models are wood built. Congratulations on the new purchase! Would love to see a tour when you decorate the place!

@@ProseccoAndProperties Hey! Glad you're ready to roll with it! I bought a house just like the one you're getting, and the original estimate was November and it didn't get built until March. I wasn't uptight about it. I'd heard estimates that it can take them up to a year to build the house (just because they have a lot to juggle), so I don't fault them for it. Just be aware that that's how it tends to work there. They'll give you an optimistic estimate and then move the date back. My house is built now, though! It doesn't take long once they get started.

Respectfully, this is *not* generational wealth. It is a liability. I toured the home you bought back in 2022 *after* I made a proffer to purchase one in 2021. I am so very glad I backed out of that purchase when I caught the owner in a lie and screwing other purchasers over (who paid more than I did, I got the sale price). That not only drove me to not sign the contract they sent, I took a HUGE step back. Then, less than six months later, I drove to meet Randy in person, and that was the final nail in the coffin. When his eyes locked with mine, it made my stomach knot up in disgust. I was *not* expecting that to happen, but it did, and I listen to my gut instinct. More than anything, I so hope that your experience is better than mine. I hope your skin didn't crawl when you first locked eyes with Randy, and I hope your home turns out to be the best financial decision you ever made, and that it's not delayed more than 6 months. Many people had to live in their cars for up to a year WHILE paying storage fees *after* paying him in full for their home builds (yes, a simple incredibox, not custom builds). After meeting him in person, and seeing how may states and cities backed out of allowing ITH to build communities in their region, I'm so glad I backed out. Actually, I'm grateful I caught him in a bold faced lie and had photo proof of it. THAT is really what saved me. I do know some people have had good experiences despite long delays, repairs that were never fixed, and they said they would by again. I like to offer fair and balanced info. Like most things, you just need to be prepared. Most people who like ITH already own homes, and are putting one in the back yard for Airbnb or for family/guests.

A this time, Tiny homes are the only way an average worker may have a chance to purchase a home. But, like everything else, when these homes start reaching the $150-$200K(and higher) price, we'll be right back at the position as houses are unaffordable now.

The 2 Story one looks cool. But getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom is going to stink. Sure as heck not falling back asleep once you go back up the stairs.
@tennesseeterri8 ай бұрын
I also went to ITH and stayed in that very same airbnb. The stairs are no big deal for most people. They were not as high as most stairs and it's a very short walk to the bathroom. You can also choose to sleep downstairs as many other people do. Some just use the loft as storage or a lounge. area.

@anonymous-ir3tf8 ай бұрын
You must have had a double serving of the ITH Kool Aid to post this puff-piece on ITH and Randy Jones. 😀They do not use recycled materials, and never have. The foam core panels are not longer used, not that they were ever recycled to begin with, as they were not used previously. They now use manufactured panels, origin unknown, but probably China, and apparently not certified for residential use, and no guarantee that they will not out-gas. Numerous people have asked ITH for information on the panels, and ITH has not responded. That is a big red flag. As for the older version of the I-box, they have been plagued with leaks, and cracks between the walls and roof. Moving on to the "$200 lot rent", you failed to mention that a non-refundable $30,000 "key payment" has to be paid upfront. You pay that for the privilege of living on one of their lots. So much for cheap rent. As for buying a house from them, ITH requires payment in full before even starting the build on a house. No other builder does that. And ITH only has 30 day warranty, the shortest in the industry. ITH also has a problem delivering houses on the promised delivery date, with delivery delayed form 6 mos. to a year for many buyers. As for attention to detail, they have none. They put one woman's stairs to the loft in the bathroom, and another woman, who ordered RV hook-ups, as she planned to use the house primarily as an RV, received a house with the hook-ups on the wrong side, making it virtually unusable at most RV parks and campgrounds. As for Randy Jones, he doesn't work any harder than anybody else in the business, and his hard-luck sob story is just an act. I personally feel like he is dishonest in his dealings, misrepresenting the product. One example: He'll say that a house comes with a full-kitchen and full bathroom, and it turns out that his idea of full kitchen is just a sink, and the full bathroom doesn't include a sink. To me, that's dishonest, and dishonest in small things means dishonest in all things. As for The Mountain, it's at least 2 years behind schedule, with no opening date. ITH has collected millions of dollars in key payment and house payments from people who had expected to be living there by now. and they have nothing to show or it. No need to say that I'd never buy a house from ITH.

Why is it all you say is negative comments about someone…jealousy is an ugly way to live. Jump on a new band wagon, it’s not working for you here. Good idea….look in the mirror and insult yourself, then tell yourself you’re sorry for being so unkind. I pray that you will one day find happiness, I really do. 🙏🏻🇺🇸
@anonymous-ir3tf8 ай бұрын
@@Jules73572 I'm not one of those ITH Pollyannas who equates truth-telling with negativity. I simply stated the facts, and you projected that into negativity. So perhaps you 're the one who should be looking into a mirror. As for finding happiness, I found it a long time ago, so I certainly don't need your prayers. BTW, what's with the American flag emoji? I don't need to be reminded what country that I live in, unlike the pseudo-patriots who substitute flag-flying for true patriotism.
