Beautiful offset Lonestar Grillz makes good equipment I have mine for 5years now and love it. The V shape wood holder I have and I still perfer cooking without it. I also keep my door cracked and inlet always fully open. It allows that smoke to be super clean.

Glad you are back and that you and the family are doing well! I understand how life gets in the way sometimes but we all have priorities to take care of (don't I know). I have watched your chicken leg quarter video on the LSG at your old house a number times. I now have a LSG 20x36 offset and the same size pellet smoker and enjoy them both. Chicken breasts here looked awesome (took notes this time) and look forward to seeing new cooks on the LSG.....thx again.

I think right after I discovered How to BBQ Right, you were the second BBQ video I found. I have always enjoyed your videos because you kept it honest. You even admit when you had forgot something. It's so nice to see you back !!! I feel like everything I know about smoking and grilling I learned right here. I use all Weber kettles and a WSM, but I'm really thinking about an offset now. I'll check out the Lone Stars. Thank you for sharing !!

The WSM is pretty close to the flavor you can get on an offset, but there's nothing like having the offset and tending to the fire to really tweak the flavor of the meat you're cooking. It is a lot more work on an offset, but well worth it if you can afford one. Thanks for watching!!!!
