Chief Walker if you ever need volunteers to help paint, build or whatever tell josh to hit me up as I’d love to help. I grew up in withington street on the weekends with my dad. I always remember playing around the fire department and across the street at the butchery to get snacks. Haha. Great memories. You guys NEED and DESERVE a new station.

To bad the towns people didnt go for the whole thing.... Town hall/ police department, Fire department and empty lot could have made a very nice sizable building(s) to house the 3 for the next 100 years. If you ignore the problem, dont spend the money to fix the situation, the problem doesnt go away. No, really,,,,,,thats true... We know there will be a new fire station within the next 5 -10 years. Thats a giving. I only wonder how many will look back and say to save the money in 2016 we spend XXX more in 20XX. Was it worth it to wait?

My fire department just build a bigger building with 5 doors and now there is a lot more space than we had in the old station. Our old station had only 2 doors and it was very small for 4 trucks

Whenever I get homesick fir Newbury I watch this video. Haha. Sounds dumb but I like it. Too bad they didn’t get this dept. They really need it.

Michael Hogg it didn’t pass the vote and never got built. Newbury, MA. Beautiful little town with a great fire chief who truly cares.
