@@FloFinance that was the 2005 standard. In fact, the fact they treated the building with care and love also shows that even with support and great maintenance, it would look ageless. Hopefully with the renovations, I pray no one will call it the New Dubai. The building looks incredible, hopefully the rooms will get modernized and even there wouldn't be any issues afterwards.

Please renovate, dont sell it. Its an evergreen investment. You will still find student queueing to rent it. Like your husband was saying, self contain will be too high for most student, i feel you should still maintain the single rooms imo. I just subscribed, a first timer🙂

Flo, absolutely fantastic hostel you got there! Please renovate and keep renting. Ensure there is water supply either by means of bole hole or well, and the kitchen area you can put doors as well and encourage gas burners instead of firewood, by all means avoid firewood. You couple are a firmament to adore!

Thank you for your suggestions. ❤ The water table is so deep here so wells are out of the question. Boreholes though necessary are super expensive in these parts. We will highly consider installing one.

Mmmh today? Putting inflation into consideration, minus the cost of land, I will budget 25 to 30 Million for this house start to finish including fence and concrete yard. If I have change, I celebrate. If it will take a bit more, that's still realistic. Because the house is big, about 2 times an average bungalow.
