Rarely do showers have a curtain in Paris. Usually the washer and dryer are one unit, not always.

I totally get being happy that you found a place that worked SO well for your family in a foreign country and love this place! I've booked AirBnB and VRBO for 6 adults and man, it's HARD finding a place for more than 4 people. When you went out onto the balconies, it was clear you were in Paris proper. but it was still so quiet!

Holy! You hit jackpot with that place! Glad you were able to find it! The best places to stay are away from the tourist areas. We had a small apartment in the 10 th and I was glad for the quiet street it was on. I also found it fun to see and live the differences. This is not that messy. I saw nothing gross; just normal lived-in clutter with three young children. People are so used to people on the Internet cleaning their house before filming or photographing it, that we forget that many families don't live like that day-to-day. And some parents are more chill about kid messes than others. There's nothing wrong with that. Shawn and Andrew should get to relax on their vacation too. They're making memories with their kids. No one will remember how clean the apartment was...just the stuff they actually did together!

Mama of 4 Tip: I always carry a bag with us that has basic cold, flu, fever, pain meds. That way if something happens, at least I can administer some basics until they can see a doc if needed. 💕

Wow. I remember when Atlanta hosted the Olympics and residents rented their homes. It’s obvious this is someone’s actual home that took advantage of the tourist! One of the cool capitalists perks to hosting the Olympics. It benefits the everyday family. Curious how many families bunked up to make money😂 What a blessing for everyone.

My daughter married a Frenchman and lived in France for 5 years, in Paris for the first 2 yrs of marriage, 15th arrondissement. Their apt was on the 5th floor. No elevator of course. No A/C. When Mama J went to visit the grandchildren (often), adjusting always took a good two weeks. Lovely place, guys. Glad you got to go.

As a French Woman who grew up in Paris this is definitely a higher end place. Not the norm but amazing place for sure! I love the beds for kids! Great idea!! And Ah the AC it’s definitely rareeeeee to find 😂 and I was spoiled in America so now when going to visit my family I feel you 😅 Glad you guys enjoyed it!

You might check, I know some friends in the UK and they have a washer/dryer combo, it’s all one unit that washes and then it has a dry setting to dry. Yours may not be, but thought I might say something and you could check✝️🩷🥰🇺🇸💙☮️🫶🏼🌼🎀🦋🙏🏼🐾🕊️❣️❣️❣️❣️

In Europe, the appartement are so small, to maximize the space, you will often find a washer and dryer in the same unit. Maybe it was what you have. We are thinking to buy one for our cabin…

Did you guys use Uber with the kids? We’re going to Europe next year with our toddler and are planning on public transportation but if we need Uber we want to have that as an option, just not sure how to handle without traveling with a car seat.
