It is somewhat armed, but not yet fully armed to be lethal to defend the Philippines. It does not have the anti aircraft missiles and only 2 anti ship missiles. I pray that during Horizon 3, these Rizal class Frigates will be truly and fully armed.

Hindi kaya ng budget. Masyadong mataas kasi ang maintenance at weapon cost. Imagine ang isang destroyer ay may more than 50 VLS to almost 100 plus other weapon systems. Mga armas na wala pa sa JRCF VLS at CIWS. Dapat ay corvette lang yan e.

The best thing you could do for the country is to at least follow what the officer told you. Compromised operational security dahil di nablur yung dapat. Sana kung di kayang iblur, cut nalang sa video. Hopefully, next time may approval ng PN muna bago maglabas ng video.

When I was still in Sangley in the 70s and early 80s during President Marcos Sr.'s time all Navy vessels were designated as RPS ( Republic of The Philippines Ship) before it was changed to BRP (Barko/Bapor ng Republica ng Pilipinas). I was on the Air Force family by the way but the Navy is very close to my heart especially if you came from a Sangley Point (Air Force/Navy/Marines/Coast Guard) family... I personally knew a lot of former Navy skippers from the '60s up to 2005... I left my hometown (Sangley Point) after staying inside the base for 28 years in 2005. I met most of these crew in Subic and they were shocked when they found out I came from Sangley hehe. Most of them are young and newbies. Mabuhay ang Philippine Fleet and Philippine Navy! Mabuhay ang mga galing Sangley Point! Proud Batang Sangley 70ss after the U.S Sangley Air Station (Sangley Pioneers/Batang Etivac) 🤞😎

CIWS ba hanap mo. ano ba tingin mo sa CIWS . yung dalawang nasa taas at yung automatic machine nian concider yan na as CIWS . yung short range missile defense nian pason yun at CIWS . 😂😂😂 additional defense lang yung hinahanap niong phalanx CIWS . . VLS nalang ang kukang jan . dami talagang bobo parin na pinoy . hanap ng hanap ng CIWS e meron naman😂.

4:10 yung missile nayan ang role nian is to defend the ship 4:25 . automatic gun . yan ang mga close in weapon systems ng rizal class. yung ciws na laging hinahanap ng mga pinoy is yung PHALANX CIWS . additional defense nalang yun . maganda sa maganda kung kumpleto mas maraming defense equipment mas maganda . VLS nalang kukang jan CIWS kayo ng CIWS . di nio naman alam yung hinahanap nio😂
