Tour of R1 Concepts Brakes

Today I make a stop at R1 Concepts Brakes headquarters to meet with the owner Martin to get an in-depth tour of one of their warehouses. Like the rest of us who order parts online, aside from pictures you don't usually see it until you receive it. If I can, I prefer to see products first-hand (especially car parts) before buying them and this is one of the reasons why I made this trip. R1 Concepts did not disappoint. I'm excited to be including their custom big brake kit onto my Porsche 993 RWB build. R1 Concepts also sells OE brake pads, rotors, lines etc for every make, model and year after 1930. Which is amazing! Martin gives us a behind the scenes tour of how the brakes are designed, machined etc. You truly get to witness why their products are so great and exactly what you're paying for.

Yea they do virtually any color you want. Even if it’s a color they haven’t done, they can replicate it from an example you give them.

its weird how r1 concepts and DFC are the same thing but different names and you can travel from one bldg to the next but its basically the same shop but different, also, for example i bought a r1 concepts complete brake kit and it had DFC part #'s and they were NOS so the numbers don't exist i had to go to jegs website and they had more info than amazon which is where i bought them, also, the clips were missing so i called r1 and there like no call amazon so i went back to jegs and bought the clips they were only 6-9 bucks so say 15 for front and rear but the shipping was 15 bucks so it would have been real cool if r1 would have just offered me them clip for good faith in the ccompany but for that reason i probably won't buy from them
