Katanga is only a name of our place,here out of Katanga is nurses,policemen and women,some on the navy and Airforce,stop treating people from the wood labled due to the name of the area everyone doesn't want to be gangsters or criminals indeed who are born in kantanga are born strong street life,stop criticisms and focus on your own areas where things are done stylish mxm

I totally agree with you on all the points you mentioned above there. Not sure if you watched this video to the end, I advocated for all the points you mentioned and criticized classification of people by areas and colour... I am a firm believer that the human race goals, dreams and wishes are the same on this planet. I also believe that starting point is definitely not the final destination hence we have well to do people from Katanga like Doctors, nurses, navy seals, professionals and great business owners. Please watch the whole video you will see that we are on the same page. Otherwise enjoy your Sunday evening and stay blessed 🙏🙏🙏

What a great job you're doing. Imagine what a broom and planting of trees could do to those communities.

I've been hearing a lot of that too especially on social media platforms.... Apparently the 3 to 4 times that I've driven in this community everything is normal like in any other township communities around South Africa.... Kids will be playing on the streets and others going about their day to day business.... I am beginning to believe that media over hypes the real situation on the ground. I stand to be corrected though.....

True no doubt, hence I mentioned in the video that I stand to be corrected and went onto asking viewers to comment with correct information. Once again you’re right should have waited a little bit for correct ✅ information, maybe!

I think its a very good video and i like your idea of getting feedback of good positive stories coming out of areas. Another good thing is you're putting some of the real poor and impoverished areas on the map and for that i salute you🙏🙏. Driving through Katanga is one of the scariest things to do even for myself who comes from the Nothern Areas.

Why is it called KATANGA 😂😂, this is the name of one of the provinces in D.R.CONGO, which ,in 1960, right after congo independence, wanted to separate from congo to form its independent country . Thankfully, it failed .😂
@thegreatafrikanchannel10 ай бұрын
Hello, yes it was named after Katanga in the DRC mainly because of the similarities in the number of deaths due to high crime....

@@thegreatafrikanchannel I see, thats bad. By the way simce when this name Katanga has been used ?
@thegreatafrikanchannel10 ай бұрын
@imhotep1613 From 1960 onwards the area became renowned for gangsterism and fighting. It soon got the name of Katanga derived from the DRC where there was a climate of extremist fighting. It was almost as if the same killings and fighting in the DRC's Katanga happened in the local Katanga.
