I am 69 years old now and I would make sure to take my Granny to see Christmas decorations at night every year until she died, back when I was only 16 years old. That was always her special time with me. She would have loved to see and get so excited at your remarkable display. I loved my Granny so much. Thank you for showing these amazing things to us.

Mike , my first words are amazing . I believe Amber missed her true calling which would be interior decorating and design . Every few minutes I caught myself saying wow . My favorite was the bubble lights in the window seal because my grandmother had some like it and it reminded me of her . Hope your family has a safe and happy new year .

Thanks for the tour! Amazing collection! I like the ornaments hanging by the kitchen… so pretty! So nice that you can enjoy your decorations and have others enjoy them too. I’m glad that you spent time with the family rather than put out videos. As much as I enjoy watching your videos, your family certainly comes first! Yes, I knew Donner was originally called Donder. But, I didn’t know the name before that. Thanks for the info.

Uff da kids, I envy you your energy. My decorating was minimal this year, still stymied by the lack of a downsizing garage sale (which I'm now aiming for March!). I was fortunate to pick up an angel blow mold like the one atop your fridge (at 20:10) for $6.95 at a local thrift store right before Christmas (unbelievable she was still there!). I have that same bubble light stand, somewhere in my garage (sigh). And I've never seen a half ceramic tree wall hugger before. I think I have the one my Mom's cousin made for her. ---And yes, Donder (German for Thunder, along with Blitzen for Lightning) was always part of the vernacular growing up.---I returned my Willow Lights (taken down when the tree service had to move in to remove a massive tree), & they stay outdoors all year long. I love the twinkle amidst my other branches. They endure all the wind & rain that comes my way year round.---Thanx for the lovely tour. Wish I were closer. I figured you folks were busy when I didn't hear back from you.
