Man, you are genius. Having the same problem. How do you set them up on Static IP?

Had to download the brother software and connect to a computer over usb.

We've been having similar issues with checkin iPads and printers. Ended up setting the printers up on static IPs. Definitely more reliable but we periodically have random crashes since the static IP change. Can you provide some info on what process you used for the network setup with static IP? We also use Unifi, so it should be a similar situation on our end...

I basically pinged the static ip addresses I was hoping to use as we don’t have a list of used ones 🤦🏼‍♂️. They were open so I downloaded the brother printer software. You have to hook them up via usb to your computer and set the static ip on them there. Reserving the ip in Unifi console is not the same and did t work for us. I also disabled sleep mode on the printers per planning centers advice. Not sure if that matters.

@@RylandRussell Thanks for the info! I previously was reserving the IPs via Unifi. I've since went through the process you explained via the software. Definitely not super straight forward because they have like 3 programs you can access to change various settings on the printers. But I ended up getting it figured out when I found the network setup program. Seems to be rock solid so far!

Hey Ryland, what walkie-talkies are you guys using? Do you guys run ID cards for your staff members? Have you heard of the GTD Audio Wireless microphones, I ask because I'm looking at maybe getting my church to purchase some? Also, are your a/v staff ever in the crowd or permanently in the tech booth? Do the a/v staff wear ID cards as well, also are the a/v staff paid? Sorry for all the questions, I tried to ask in the live stream review video but I guess you never saw them, lol?

Could you please explain to me what you mean by “weird morbid story” in reference to Noah’s ark? I am genuinely curious and not looking for a theological argument. I have never thought of it as morbid.

The morbid part is the picture of all of humanity drowning outside the boat and screaming in desperation. It's not all sunshine and rainbows and animals.

@@RylandRussell, I suppose that depends on whether you intend for your artwork to do something besides look pretty or not. If it is there to teach, then images from the Bible are, likely, a necessity. It's much like the difference between using worship songs that have words and using nothing but instrumental music to set a mood.
