Absolutely gorgeous Not everything needs to be painted. If the original wood is in good condition, then I vote leave it. That gorgeous little glass cabinet doesn’t need to match with everything else. Too much matching dilutes the beautiful effect.

Fabulous transformation Kate. Would you recommend your builders please? Ours retired after decades and there's just none any good. -32:50 - I know what you mean about the problem with the pine orange. Sarah Beeny called it 'Baked Bean Pine' in her old series. I would try a neutral wax on a small inconspicuous area of the stripped back wood of your table (top of the table legs exposed) -28:31 Your free standing furniture is so lovely and immensely practical for cleaning. Love the Duval taps. -22:59 Your daughter is right about the bathroom tiles - wonderful choice. My favourite are the floor flagstones. Are they York? The Edwardian style bathroom choices are very tasteful and a wise timeless choice being classic but not dated. -21:02 I would pick your favourite item out of the four curtains/cushion/throw/lampshade and remove the rest and work around that one stand out item. They are all lovely but just not all together. -17:39 What do you find best for washing wood floors please? We have engineered oak in the bedrooms and solid oak in the front room. 12:36 non-slip bathroom tiles look fab!

We’ve not washed the wooden floors yet only vacuumed them . I do have a liquid wood cleaner that you add to your mop bucket but I’ve not used it yet

You buy so many hefty pieces of furniture - how do you have it all delivered? Do you hire a van and pick it up or do you pay a Courier to deliver it for you?

My husband has a van so he moves most of it although the huge piece was delivered as it would not fit in our van

Kate, please tell me... what are the green lights on some of the ceilings?

They are for fire regulations because we intend to let the property it’s building regulations . Not sure why they are green though. They are emergency lighting
