Thanks for this video! Very interesting! Crazy how many people work in this factory. Good to see that you don't need to manufacture in China and can still produce affordable equipment. Will definitely consider a higher end Pro-Ject turntable when upgrading my system in the future.

Very cool! I like being able to see step by step what goes into making these turntables! I'm only 23 and I believe that vinyl is superior to digital format. Being new to vinyl I purchased an Audio Technica LP-60 (Not a smart first choice because of the tracking force, still better than crosley though! Haha) and even being a cheap $99 table I could tell a difference in sound quality! I just ordered a Project Debut III for $299 and I'm sure I won't be disipointed! Should go well with my fluance signature speakers. Thank you for taking the time to make all of your videos and giving me an insight into the vinyl community.

I also purchased an ATLP60, and agree. Slightly better than a crossley, but inferior to everything else.

Thanks Michael I really enjoy seeing the seeing the various aspects of turntable production I never knew there was so many different parts. However if OSHA was to visit the Pro-ject machine and tooling department they would go nuts. The lady on the metal lathe with no safety glasses on, Wow!

Never thought Project would get this big so quickly. I had an original Debut which was always buzzing and I threw it when the motor started knocking, Looks like Pro-Ject are now in a different league could end up being dominant in future, look out Rega. Great video.

The Old Git From 58. : I don't think Rega needs to be very worried. Rega's engineering & quality control seems quite a step up from this. Neither factory uses widows, natural light, art, & noise suppression. Hence , they both seem like crappy places to work.

Filmed in the 21st century - or was it the 1940s? Ear & eye protection for factory machinists? Why would you invest in such things? Did I really see a man hand-filing screw holes? Such nostalgia for years gone by.

It's Litovel the city and originally Tesla Litovel the factory which manufactured great turntables even in socialist Czechoslovakia for quite a long time and then served as a great base of expertise and craftmanship for future expansion of Pro-ject.

The "vinyl resurgence" is definitely for real! People are starting to see through the lies they told the public about "digital audio" being superior! Take the hype messages they use to put on the back of CD'S ( and still do ) that reads "the music on this compact digital disc was originally recorded on "analog" equipment, we have attempted as closely as possible to preserve the sound of the original recording, because of its high resolution ( yeah, right ) however, the compact disc can reveal limitations of the source tape"! Is it me, or are they actually trying to make you believe a CD is better than the master reel to reel tape??what a crock of Shit! People bought into it because it was quiet during playback! Ironically because of the "loudness wars" of the digital formats people started to see! And the "so called" sound engineers don't measure below the"noise floor" and claim you can't hear the high level of sound because of noise! Also bullshit! You can hear the improved dynamics even with mid line equipment right through the noise! And with high end equipment, it's not much a issue! And there are good records that are well taken care of that are "dead quiet" ! I don't care how noisy a record is, you can hear the improved dynamics with decent equipment!

I dropped in about haf way through this video..I don't know anything about Project other than they're quite inexpensive..I'm assuming they're Eastern European because of the ratio of hot/slim women...In Western Europe our women usually weigh more than their husbands...They also wear larger clothes.

if you were going to take the time to show people around the factory why don't you invest in a camera with a decent microphone so that we can hear what the hell is going on with out the rattling sound from your microphone unbelievably annoying. you're supposed to know about music and sound and yet your videos are woeful

Ron Bernard business exists to make a profit. It may be more, it may be less, but they NEED to make a profit to exist. Otherwise they exist from government hand outs, that’s called Socialism. Socialism only works until you run out of other people’s money. I’m glad the company makes a profit, especially when seeing how they take a portion of the profits and put it back in the company. These guys seem to listen to customer complaints and make the needed adjustments to better the product. I just bought a Debut Carbon III that has NONE of the problems of past Debut Carbon tables. No hum or rumble, the motor has been fixed in the new product. Even the transport screws for the motor are recommended to keep in place now with the new motor to keep in place better. I am MORE THAN IMPRESSED with the build quality and sound of this table for a $400.00 unit. I may upgrade at some point and time, but you can bet it will be a higher Pro-Ject model...
