Not quite. He lost a $hit ton as far as acting goes. No studio/production co. will ever hire him again. His acting career was popping off with YOU and LIFE IN A YEAR. He lost a crap ton of future potential projects so I wouldn't say like "nothing ever happened". But that's the beauty of comedy and having dedicated fans. That along with his podcasts ... NO DENTS.
