I love this first couple! They really told their story from dating, marriage and owning their first humble home. Their shared dialog showed grace, allowing each one to tell their own story and version of life events. It was so refreshing!

The young couple’s home, great idea about “neutralizing” color in a bookcase-repeat use of picture frames all with the same neutral frame.

All homes should be built to accommodate the elderly and disabled. This will be better for everyone. Large wide doorways and hallways make using a cane, walker or wheel chair much easier. Bathrooms or wet rooms need to have flat floors and no shower hump or pan. A flat floor allows for easy access and drains need to provided. Easy to use lever door and faucet handles are easier for the elderly to grip and open. Main floors should include a master bedroom, restroom, shower, laundry and wide walk in closet with few steps to enter. Homes should be designed with aging in place in mind.

The husband was definitely long winded and repeated the same thing several times but with different wording. If your mute button works you can always just watch it without sound. Problem solved

I'd love to know where they keep their microwave! I have a tiny kitchen with no island as well and am looking to relocate the microwave so it's not above the stove. If anyone has any ideas!
@jstokes3 ай бұрын
Hi! There are under counter options where its incorporated into the lower cabinet, and there are some slim under cabinet option where it fits below the upper cabinet. I think the latter option works very well, and if you google it, you can find some great deals. For installation, if you don't feel like doing it yourself, i use local handymen, and there are sites online where you can schedule that. The main thing is to measure twice, order once.

Terrible editing. My goodness, the repetitive droning on and on should have been cut out from the first couple. It would be very difficult to speak off the cuff like that, so it's not really the husbands fault. But that was excruciating to listen to.
@taylormedia10003 ай бұрын
So this my kitchen, where we keep the stove, these are chairs that we sit on, this is a bed which is multi-functional, I'm so glad everything was either given to us or sponsored. Oh, by the way, it's far too clean and organized to live in so we just stop by on occasion to look
@daraamagi62863 ай бұрын
All the people saying negative comments about all the talking etc- blame the channel, its bad editing. I love the homes featured but the editing is poor and doesn't seem to ever improve
@larissamartinez8326Ай бұрын
People are so mean. I agree it’s the editing and imagine being recorded answering these questions and it’s not something you do everyday, I would be nervous and home they edit well and cut off the parts that aren’t important. Maybe the questions they ask them have to be better too?
@charliecat56865 күн бұрын
The last lady says “uh” and speaks so slowly. This is not to mention she’s zooming around the room while trying to talk and show stuff. she’s probably just out of breath!😂
@carlaharris487928 күн бұрын
Let me first say I love Homeworthey ❤️ But I've got to say the first couple has I relationship. He needs to let her talk. He looks so annoyed when she talks. He does love the too understand i love our dog and cat, Charlie. They talked about the family, his family a lot, poor girl. I think if they want a bigger home, maybe cut back on the traveling. I don't think i could be around my husband's family all the time. My husband would say the same. Believe me, I get it. Maybe I will watch this episode again without the sound. There is too much talking and not enough home tour. 😔 Footnote my husband doesn't have a clue about the furniture he knows all about garden it's beautiful and knows about cooking pans and the grill and just how i like it.❤ We must be doing something right it's been almost 29 years and to this i say maybe everyone is different. If this works for them good deal. But something is just a little off in my humble opinion. I could be wrong.
@jenniferfitzgerald17963 ай бұрын
Too much talking about themselves. I’m here for the homes not your entire history. Camille says “um” over and over in almost every sentence. I couldn’t get past her living room. Too annoying to listen to.
@CarolynCressetteАй бұрын
I just said the same thing. ugh.
@larissamartinez8326Ай бұрын
Then just fast forward to the home parts, so mean. And whoever edited and asked the questions is to blame not really the couple

The last lady, too. Her slow drawn out pauses and boring narrative was awful to listen to.

@CarolynCressetteАй бұрын
I get that these people are not professional speakers especially to a camera, but the use of "um"...."um"....."um".....has ruined my wanting to watch this entire video. Do people not prepare??? I would have had very concise stories about all my chosen items to prevent this "um"...."um".....scenario. Plus, it makes them seem boring. Lovely home but, um, get it together kids!!
