Tour Te Waipounamu 2024

Tour Te Waipounamu is a 1,300km (including 22,00 m of climbing elevation) bike packing race traversing the length of the South island of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Riders face an opportunity for adventure; to be challenged by a seemingly impossible task and to discover what we are capable of. In its purest form, it is a solo event, testing ones resolve, resourcefulness and capabilities.
The route you covers the incredible diversity of the landscape of Te Waipounamu. Lush forest, vast valleys, mountain rivers and endless gravel roads and single track that fade into a horizon of rugged mountain ranges that have unlikely passages through them.
