Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Like so many others, my lifestyle changed due to the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, my families lives had become so hectic & busy that there never seemed to be a good time to travel anymore. Somewhere along the line we realized that our last vacation was in 2011. We decided that it was time we made some travel plans.
Then the pandemic hit! I no longer wanted to travel by plane or stay in a hotel. We decided that a bettter and safer alternative would be to travel in our own vehicle, one that we could also sleep in, cook our own meals in, vacation in. The rest is history!
However, the RV shopping process is not easy and required a lot of research. I want to share what I have learned along with my ongoing experiences and adventures through my channel which offers:

4:11 shows that this RV has basically no clearance. One little obstacle on the road - generator exhaust pipe rips off and smashes it into the plumbing underneath. Well thought through! 😁

Seems like a fairly decent use of space. Could use a TV in the bedroom. I don't know why these RV builders make a single cooktop, should be at minimum two burners. Cook the meat, then the rice, then the vegetables and the only thing warm when you finish is the last thing you cooked. The TV above the cab doesn't seem to be a good idea. Overall a pretty nice build. As usual, good review. Thank you.

Nice video, and great 1st attempt by Tiffin but would be more interested in non-existent floorplan #2 correcting issues with #1. First, is the rigid driving zone and the living zone where neither expand to support the other...and worse, the TV in in the driving zone potentially viewable from half the seats. Understand that Tiffin hasn't updated their website, and missing from the specification you posted, but visually, kudos to Tiffin as it looks like they join LTV using the Transit 176" wheelbase (vs Mercedes 170") where every other manufacturer are stuck on the 158". With that longer WB and the AWD 3.5L Twin Turbo, it stands the potential to be a viable alternative to the Sprinter, and considering availability of Ford service support, more desirable. While OCCC is unknown, also unknown is towing capacity for a toad. Rear twin and the hugh amount of rear storage is nice but LTV had to significantly reduce towing capacity on that floorplan vs their other floorplan. It is basic physics of weight management. Storage places a lot of potential weight at the rear bumper (virtual increase of hitch weight) and behind the rear axel, increasing axel weight closer to its limit mandating lower authorized towing capacity.

It would be interesting to see the Version of the Wayfarer RLW 25 with the Ford Transit with the Elwell by timberline, and no generator. Instead add Nations Dual Kit alternator 280A. and big battery kit Victron 660Ah multiplus II 12/3000/120 inverter and WakeSpeed WS500 regulator with the Victor GX 7 touchscreen Monitor. There is also possibilities to put Xantrex xc pro 3000W inverter with Xantrex batteries 2 x 310ah = 620AH, and a bigger set of solar grid 3 x 190W plus an extra mppt controler to add external panel. Lithionics also propose 2x310 ah batteries with second alternator kit. By removing the generator, we save 202 lbs. BY adding an Elwell or Truma AQuaGo COMBI D 4 E (Diesel electric) it allows to remove propane. Diesel is more easier to find and we can bring several 20 L jerrican for backup. it is also very efficient and run the Furnace and the water heater. I am also surprised to see Tiffin found a way to install a 4 point leveling jack BIGFOOT. However , The ground clearance is thin. It is time for FORD to increase the ground clearance of the Transit similar to the Sprinter Mercedes.

Good presentation. With a few changes this could compete with LT and Ekko. Love 0utside storage and Twin beds. Kitchen suggest compressor fridge. Move Tv to Bedroom. Bathroom toilet to tight to cabinet. Power need to have 3k inverter with min 300ah lithium. Add a second alternator and eliminate the noisy Oman generator. Tank sizes not stated. Options of solar not stated. No mention of leveling jacks or what AC unit was used. I’d prefer a Truma combo and ditch the older noisy 16btu furnace. What about a table for the seating? A lagun table? Outside is beautiful. I know I mentioned allot, but really I think their is allot of potential.

Nice rig if you want to go that set above a campervan. I like that they have the twin bed option, so many times it's one big bed. That garage storage in back was awesome. I just got a 2018 Coachmen Crossfit 22C, was waiting for the 2023 Pocket on a 2022 Ram but it's on delay so I bought this Crossfit, I love it! Doing some modifications now and just ordered a bike rack. It's fun making a rig your own. Thanks for sharing the Tiffin Midas.

Lots of storage.I like the three entrance garage area at the back.But there actually isn't a lounge area as such and you cant really see the TV.Bathroom is nice and big with good storage.

Second row seat near window has awkward lack of legroom and NO work surface. Very strange coach. Compared to LTV Wonder on same chassis, this is a big fail. Likewise for Winnebago EKko. You did not mention OCCC or if this has lithium or AWD.

Hello Richard, As this is a new RV and not even listed on the Tiffin website I did manage to find the specs and placed them at the beginning of the video. It is an AWD, 2 AGM batteries, 2000 watts inverter and has a 4000 watt generator. Thanks for watching!

@@Adventure-MomAGM batteries are archaic. There are perfectly good 100ah Lithium batteries with decent BMS available now under 500 dollars each. Since they will last on average for 10 years, they are cheaper than AGM for the owner.

Tiffin blows Thor and the others away with quality of build. Very tasteful decor too. Dislikes are the front TV placement, toilet angle (ouch!), and not a fan of round kitchen sinks. Nice shower... and was that a ShowerMiser on the shower wall? Smallish freezer is odd. Knowing Tiffin they'll get it right... roll Tide!!

Good video Ruby...how about getting a normal size to larger guy to sit on the toilet and lay down on those twin beds so we can all see what the size is really like. I am not thin by any means and I am guessing 70% of most people are not thin either.
