An electrician does a walk-around of his Chevy Express 1500 work van. He likes that the side panels on the van open up via remote to allow him to access bins of parts. He uses racks and shelves from Adrian Steel to stay organized while he does commercial, residential and industrial electrical work.

This is a Chevy Express 2014, 1500 edition. Actually I don't prefer this ladder rack because I need a ladder to get my ladder down. Those other ones --like that one...like that one there--it flips down and so you can actually get your ladder much easier. I use a four footer or a six footer. I have a four footer in the back that I usually take it out and I strap and unstrap. what I like least about the van is trying to stow away my tools. It's set up for materials more so than tools.
See this is what I mean by all my tools. I have a lot of different tools. I have tools in here I got my shovels and rake. And then I've got several bags of tools those along with other my my bags that I wear all the time. So I do different things with from residential to commercial to industrial so I got a lot of different tools in there.
I don't use that that door hardly ever. Now if I had an extended piece of wood or something I would use that. This here is a 10-foot piece of pipe. Now if I didn't lean it like this it wouldn't fit, but it fits if you would put it in here. But as it is right now I just figured out a way to lean it.
I have a hook back there that I used to keep my six-foot ladder, in there on the hook, but it was kind of loud and I just found it better to leave it on the bed. I like the double doors because it allows me a better access in and out. Now you have to park in the right place though, because if you're in a really tight parking spot then you'll have problems getting open those doors
