Girl, it seems to me that cannabis treatment helps to significantly reduce the symptoms of this syndrome. Has your doctor already brought up this treatment option?

Hi! Can you do a video with suggestions from your experience for parents of children with Tourette’s. I’m doing my own research but I’d like to hear from people who are diagnosed. What you wish your parents did to help… what you do that helps you… etc. My 13 year old is getting more vocal. He says “ah” and “oh” currently and it’s getting louder. It doesn’t bother me at all and I’m not complaining about him. I just fear for him because I know it won’t be long before kids notice and bring attention to it. He also has a sad face tic at the moment. And a jump he does in his chair. He is not really aware of his tics to the point the bother him yet. I was told not to bring attention to it so we just haven’t spoke much about it and I don’t want to make him self conscious. But I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong by not talking to him more about it. 😩 Thank you for sharing your journey by the way!

See, I have inattentive ADHD and if she was sitting next to me, there’d be a corpse with a stoved in head within 10 seconds 🤣 I just couldn’t take it, she’s ruining other’s education and really needs to be in a special school.

How is she ruining anyone's education when she's being quiet? Plus, it isn't her fault, but you make it out to be.

I have tourettes and adhd so I 100% get where your coming from and I agree that it can be annoying but think about how much more annoying it is for the person with tourettes that's actually ticcing and imagine if you had hyperactive adhd and (for example) blurted out the answer to a question before putting your hand up or getting told off for not focusing. She can't help it just like you and I can't and I'm sure neither of us would want to be treated differently (except for accommodations ofc) for something we can't help and have a good reason for. Not hating, just explaining

Being in a special school would be a constant reminder of her tourettes, which would trigger them constantly. That was extremely insensitive of u to say
@DreamyStarrz2 ай бұрын
So do I but this comment was unnecessary. It’s Tourette awareness. Not hate on Tourette’s. How insensitive can you get? It’s not like she can control it

maybe you should be in a special school for your adhd. you're ruining other people's education by being so easily distracted. not fair, is it?

I feel like this is fake

One if it is fake why would she fake it in class video and not just at home. No one is paying attention or distracted by her. And If she was taking it she'd try to make it so dramatic that it'd get attention from others. But also you could be right. Because everyone with tourette's is a little different so you can't really tell if they're faking it or not. But I like that you shared your thoughts. And I don't mean this mean in anyway. And I hope you have a nice day.

Not faking it if she was why would she be punching herself in the face?
