Guys, the fridge's door can be easily switched to open on the other side :) Google it and make your life easier. Really love the place!

Refrigerators doors are always made so that the way the doors opens can be changed. The holes for attachment are disguised. Pop off the hole covers and voilà, switch the side that opens!

I couldn't deal with 2 cats in such a small space but I love the decor. Most modern fridges have the option of switching the door, perhaps get your dad to look at it!

Nice video. Love her ideas, especially if you want to downsize. Her cat is so cute. My thought about why the refrigerator doors open outwards, is that there is not enough width. If you look at the refrigerator, it appears that if it was switched, she would be banging it against the wall, if she could open it at all. Thanks again for sharing what a person can do even in small spaces.

Love the space!!!! Such a good job. Only thing is update the kitchen with wallpaper and contact paper. Also it’s not hard to switch the door on the fridge or keep your cats off the counters.

As an Amsterdam resident also living in Jordaan (saw my favourite bar featured at the start!!) - I LOVE how they’ve managed to bring light to the apartment - something that our homes in Jordaan often lack. Gorgeous!!!

She has packed a lot of functionality into such a small space, with heaps of storage. The apartment is reflective of her personality with the various collections on display. And how lucky to have her own outdoor terrace. This is definitely one of my favourite spaces on this channel. She could easily open up the floor plan a bit by swapping out the bed for a murphy unit. I know that parts of the UES are actually more affordable than other neighbourhoods. I'd be curious to know the rent for this apartment.

Nice. I would improve the space by placing an up-folding drying rack over the sink. Reverse the frig door. Get some hardware to hang the microwave from under the cabinet AND definitely get a Murphy bed. Otherwise, great use of space

Grace should reupholster her couch and make sure it's not lopsided. She should also get pretty matching towels for her bathroom. She should ask building maintenance to switch her fridge door &/or replace her fridge. She did a pretty good job in her space though. It would be cool for Grace to zero in on the little details. I saw the bathroom as she opened the front door! Why didn't they show it? The balcony is nice, but is there room to sit? A Murphy bed would be perfect! The frig. doors should be reversible. This building must have nice amenities! She does have good organizational skills in her nice place!

I love what she has done w/the limited space in her tiny apt., but I wish she would've made her apt TV ready. 1) Matching white fluffy towels in the bathroom hanging instead of mismatched towels in various colors folded any kind of way. 2) A brand new fluffy white shag rug under her lift table. 3) Plump up her down comforter to make her bed look super comfy. 4) Lastly, buy four new fluffy pillows for her bed along w/some accent pillows to match her green velvet sofa. - - Small upgrades just for camera day and then return it all when done. A small investment lasts forever! - - I guess the show omitted the 5 sf from the Juliet balcony bc it's not liveable space? The video title has the apt. @ 220 sf, but everyone kept saying in the video her apt. is 225 sf.

Everything you said except rv ready should be her everyday lifestyle. She deserves that. She shouldn't take anything back to the store. She should make it a fun project to redo her place for herself. Others will enjoy her space more when they come over. The way her place is now it looks like that couch would be uncomfortable on a person's behind😂.

Nayna a double bed is what I have and it is short for me at 5’ 4”. Like a long twin I think we need a long double. Murphy beds save the most space but the are costly and not easy to transport. Good question

Why do you need a host for this series? They’re not particularly good with interviewing and they’re just a “yes” person.
